Thanks DorothyMH, Anek, Silent Wolf and CaptainCanuck
My head is not fun and I'm unlikely to get my bond back
Migraines that come to stay and wreak havoc are not cool. The frequency and vision issues seem to be what's interesting the white coats.

Still training! Coach has reached new levels of inspiration. Each session is now surviving the damn 'warm up' and then relaxing and unwinding afterwards with some rolling and technique chat. My new mantra is "jesus I'm unfit!" repeating over in my head until the warm up is over.
I've strained the tendons in my hand...again. But am still enjoying trapping some of the younger guys who think my some-what broken self is going to be an easy one...then asking infuriating questions like "so what could you do now?"
My old favourite training partners are now too good for me, they've up-ed their training while I've been mucking about. I realised I excited for them! Yes, I'm being left in their dust but it means I've got a better range of people to learn from. Also people who are well aware of my strengths and weaknesses and can come back to me with tips.
I think I might be becoming an adult

Congrats on near adulthood, I have heard good things, considering the move myself.

Been avoiding adulthood myself. Prefer to stay in the "old enough to know better, young enough not to care" stage!

            24th June

Well, I just had about a month of rolling migraines. Would not recommend.
I've been doing a lot of yoga and meditation over the last month!! Breathing exercises R us.
To celebrate my first relatively pain-free (minor headache nothing to write home about) day I'm going to log my exercise!

Strength session (~10min): lunges, push ups, squats weighted with sandbag
Mixed bag (20min): star jumps, high knees, planks (elbow and side), wall sit, crunches, push up rotations, lunges, triceps dips, squats and step ups on 30s rotation.

Ab workout with kids ~10min, this went relatively well but burpees are still preferred to planking!
Yoga with kids ~10min, my son decided that speed yoga was a thing...then complained his back was sore.

Nice to see you, too bad about the migraines.

You could probably make some money with speed yoga, but someone else has probably alreqdy copyrighted the name.

                  25th June

Nice to hear from you Fremen and CaptainCanuck

Minor migraine today but drugs will save us all. Encouraged today's was bearable.

Today started with some cardio (star jumps, high knees) to get my heart started before some work to make my quads, glutes and abs hurt.
Finished with a bit of yoga (~30min)

Played some spider guard games with the kids and then berimbolo drills

Nice to hear that the migranes are getting more bearable! Looks like you got in some seriously nice work done there! And props for having yet enough energy for some grapplework afterwards Cheers and good day to you!

                        26th June

Warm up and then leg day (~20min)

Did some Bhangra dancing with my son (~10min) hilarious and very sweaty.

Then rolled out the fancy mat and had some fun rolling around and transitions.
Sadly migrained out before I got my Yoga done.

Kids want what they want TheGrayLynx ! My legs only just made it through. Then the rest of the day was rolling...no standing needed

Fortunately I've never had a migraine but I understand they're pretty nasty, so I'm glad to see you up and about. Or at least, rolling about!

I have a couple of different types TopNotch all have their own drama. Unfortunately I have a bad habit of wearing my game face in public and crashing at home.
They seem to be getting worse as I'm getting older!

                                27th June

My head was a mess today so I kept it simple.
My hips were shitty because I skipped yoga yesterday (yes, I was limping and had a messy head...just needed to be bitching about kids on my lawn to be a total cliche! ) so took the kids through some hip work as a warm up (~5min)
Started with some cardio and more general stuff before focusing on upper body and tendons (~20min)
Finished with a bit of general stretching and yoga (~10min).
