Oh, I see! I’ve done that a lot, but never as an intentional exercise Interesting that it IS an exercise that does need some good form!

Yeah, the business on that one is the slow and smooth DorothyMH, the twisting stand up is pretty fun. My partner refers to the latter movement as 'the curtsey'.

In yoga I sometimes encounter this manoeuvre done from cow face/knee pile pose. It is a fun one.

I want to apologize in advance for what I am about to write... Sorry!!!
Though I think your title makes no sense... Let's say you are walking and you fall down, and then you stand up. That's one time for each. No matter how many times you fall down, you stand up exactly the same many times. For you to have stood up once more, you would have to start your journey fallen down, in which case, the title doesn't serve its initial purpose...
Sorry for being such a prick. And just so I make it clear, I 100% agree with what you mean..!!!

Yeah, you need to think more famous proverb and less literal GiorgosD

Others have somewhat different take aways, but mine is the importance not only getting back up when you get knocked on your arse but doing so with humility gained from knowing that you'll be meeting the ground again and are already prepared to get back up.

Some of guys I train with are of the school of 'you have to stand before you can fall'...works for the maths angle which you may appreciate more.

It could be solved in a pragmatic way by bouncing at least once ...

Had a set back in my recovery and have pinched a nerve. This shit is tedious and pain gets old fast...maybe it's just me

Anyway, one step at a time- no point wallowing on my arse!

That's sucks, I always look forward to reading your check-in, it is nice when it is full of fun exercises, not injuries. Hopefully you heal fast, but take your time.
