                  26th-28th November

                  Pandemics are busy times at work and with me stepping up at training as well I haven't been doing a great job looking after myself. Unsurprisingly, my body has called time on me over the last couple of days. My coordination is so shot that I can't even roll.
                  Been sticking to yoga and meditation.

                    Well, you just look after yourself. Better yet, get that nice fit and strong family of yours to do it! Relax and drink tea. Oh, and cake. Cake is good.

                        29th November

                        Boxing and jits are interesting to drill together. Both require a lot of fluency in how you move around a space. Movements are full body with a still mind. It put me in quite a philosophical frame of mind today.

                        After I went and did 30min of ape hop, roll and cartwheel combos. Was a lot of fun. I even work a couple of ideas I could use in jits.

                        Pretty fatigued by the end so finished with a Qigong session to even out the keel.

                          It is all good, more important to think about being active within the confines of what you think is possible versus achieving other standards.

                          There are some people in amazing shape who only do yoga and meditation.

                            Ah, the joys of combat sports training. I can't day a lot about BJJ, but for boxing, just keeping the fists up and moving in the ring can drain you. HYDRATE!!

                              30th November

                              Work was chaos today. So as a reward I just did 30min of butterfly kick variations and drills. I'm not going to lie and say I can do a butterfly kick, also I'm not going to have much use for it. So this was sweaty, impractical, fun.
                              I'm getting a little better at floating my feet and I didn't fall on my arse. Also, in a win from the audience, my partner said it looked like I needed the music from a ballet playing in the background. So apparently I looked graceful
