      Dammit! I should have known TopNotch !

      Morning:

      Footwork drills supplemented by impersonating John Cleese from the Ministry of Silly Walks with a duck walk variation. My partner said it was creepy and to stop...so I added an extra 10mins of just walking 'creepily' around the house practising my pivots. ​​​​​​​

      Primal movement session:

      30min of leg switches, topped off with a bit of coffee grinder with the kids. I can report that none of us are quite drunken wedding ready yet.

        Morning:

        Footwork and punching drills

        5min of handstand prep.:

        Only half baked participation today so this was mainly just me doing whatever.

        60s crow
        30s squat to press
        60s hollow hold
        30s crow
        60s plank
        30s hollow hold

        Primal movement session:

        30min of ape hop/ duck combos. Just travelling around the house staying low. I think I've found every bit of grit in the house.

          Morning
          Drills, have a big training day tomorrow so covering a few areas.

          The rest of the family has decided to try Express tone without me. Given the kids have lost one of each of the dumbbells I had out this could be great to watch.

          17th November

          Apparently I'm training in 2 things now

          Morning
          Training- boxing
          Active rest is now officially Hindu push-ups, V-ups and full burpees with tuck jump.

          Evening
          Training- jits!!
          I have bruises and I'm not sure where they came from.

          The family had their first Express tone session while I was at training. Apparently getting to fatigue with one dumbbell then having to do it again on the other side is not so fun.

                Fit ball drills- balance, knee rides, leg sweep to pin
                Footwork drills

                Shoulder wasn't up to handstand stuff today.

                Core work with the fit ball
                A bit of carefull punching drill action to get a feel for where my shoulder was at.
                I've figured out exactly where all the soft spots are.

                30min of cartwheels and variations, these were fun. Shoulder had no problems here.
                I also found the matching dumbbell for the one my partner is using for Express tone while cartwheeling around the house. Brownie points for me!!

                  Then was working on some stuff I was a bit shit at last night and slid awkwardly on a child's toy. *sigh* so have been R.I.C.E-ing my shoulder again.

                  My strapping job today was 10/10 though.

                  Went for a short jog because I was feeling a bit down.

                      I was doing a weird activity in the right spot for both the dumbbell and the shoulder DorothyMH

                      Drills including carefully reviewing some of my recent fails. Then just lots of work driving my movement through my feet.

                      Primal movement session

                      30min of working up to 360d jumps. Warmed up with some 180s with an upper cut worked into the landing for fun. Sadly still not at 360. I can solidly stick a 270 but above that things are wobbly.

                      15:42 high knees followed by Better sleep and meditation

                              365days is today CaptainCanuck!

                              I've beensticking to drills and training with yoga to try and convince my body to keep speaking to me.
                              I retained way less than I hoped and am having to rebuild a lot.
                              Am so grateful that I splashed out and got myself a fancy mat. The amount of time I'm spending on my shoulders is only challenged by the amount of time skipping

                              I did have a moment of deep nostalgia when I got put in my first choke hold for months. I got to return the favour which was fun

                                Well congrats.

                                I just remember thinking last year, that it would be nice if this newer new guy than me would stick around, because if he is showing up just for December to throw hundreds of snowballs at me then I will never get a chance to pay back properly.
