            I think I'm going to cut the 2 weeks short and make a batch of baked French toast over the weekend. However, after that, I'll be examining what the right ratio of sweets-days is. It might be as simple as no sweets Monday through Thursday, and reasonable sweets intake starting Friday night through Sunday.

            Also, starting Sunday, I'm planning to start a bike variation on the Marathon Training Plan, with 50 mile and 100 mile rides in place of the half marathon and marathon in the current plan. (The full Marathon Training Plan starts a little "easy" compared to where I have been, but I think dialing back to ramp up is probably a good idea.)

              Your modified half marathon and marathon sounds like an interesting idea. Ramping up is a good way to build extra strength.

                      *I did take more than 1 minute between the weighted punches and the bicep curls because it took me more time to put plates on my dumbbells.

                      It looks like the 1&1 experiment has, for the time being, curbed my sugar issues. Despite saying "I can have dessert any day this weekend", while I've been having the baked french toast for breakfast (which is sweet, but less sweet than you might be thinking), I didn't actually have dessert Friday or Saturday (we shall see about Sunday). So for the time being, just going with "think before you drown your feelings in ice cream" on that front.

                              Negative Pullup Challenge, Day 12 - dead hangs - I may need to drop this or examine the dead hang days. By the last round of hangs, I could feel my left side tensing up, which probably means it hurts more than I am letting myself believe. Good for me, but maybe cut it back to just 3 sets of dead hangs? I'm not feeling stressed by the negative pulls, so I think just stopping the hangs at whatever point the arm (by which I mean the entire left side of my upper body) starts to complain.
