                    Hero's Journey 28/60 - still hard, but I can see progress.

                    Ran 3.37km in 29:30 (8:44) - felt like running again so did a short mission.

                    did my Hammer training right before the rest of the workout so my arms were beat! Bad timing for the day.

                        Okay. It's been a bit rough here. Skipped a whole week of Hero's Journey, though I did do some running because I was just too stressed.

                        So I fell out of Hero's Journey. Husband decided he wants to do the weightlifting I was doing before, but together this time. I figured we could give it a try.

                          As sometimes happens, I stopped almost everything and have had some changes. One thing I did complete? ZR 5K Training! Not in the 8 weeks I had intended, but at least I got it done.
                          My final 5k time was was 38:40 (7:44 pace) - a personal best! Felt good to do it, though I will say I prefer the 5k training here at Darebee; it wasn't too intense and I didn't need to break so much between sessions. If I remember correctly, I was able to do that training in the 8 weeks, maybe give or take a few days or a week, whereas the Zombies, Run training took me... about 17 weeks

                          I also changed quite a few other things... frustrated by my lack of progress on the weight-loss front I kinda stopped being careful, stopped tracking, stopped fasting. And then promptly gained energy, better moods, and lost 10lbs and some more off my waist. Perhaps I was not eating enough? Not really sure. The biggest shift was allowing myself to snack. I just can't seem to get enough food in when I try to keep it to big meals bc I find myself unable to eat much before I get full.
                          What I do know is that I am now consider a healthy weight for my size with that god-awful BMI chart, which hopefully now means when I have a problem and go to the doctor I won't be told to lose weight! I hope. We'll see.

                          I am starting to feel stable again so with a new outlook on how to eat well and a desire to come back to regular workouts, I'm back just in time for December fun!
