      I was staying up that first night to make sure we didn’t have to evac in the middle of the night, so I didn’t do any other exercises until today. Good news is we didn’t have to leave and my family got to go back to their homes. We won’t see them for a bit though, since they’re going to quarantine now, just to be safe. Thank you for your thoughts and well wishes!

      Day 3 of the diet was hard. I hit the wall of carb craving and it just wouldn’t stop nagging me. All I wanted was a piece of toast with butter and jam... But I persevered and day 4 has been much easier. Made a new kimchi while we were waiting around and it already tastes delicious. Can’t wait to taste the flavors that develop over the winter.

          Felt terrible today - pms, fatigue. But somehow my run was still really good and in fact better than the last one by a smidge. Was reading the forums regarding my current reset diet and it looks likes the consensus is that days 4-7 are the hardest and so far that tracks with me, with day 10 being where you start to feel benefits. Looking forward to it. Tired of being tired, but that's one reason I started this in the first place.

              I aim to misbehave - level 3 + EC

              I tried the November challenge but my ankles did not like it. I think I will be adding daily dares again though since my body seems to be able to handle the current level. I feel like I'm missing something in the middle of the day, even with the housecleaning.
              Diet is still feeling rough. Had dinner with some family last night and usually this is food that's easy to not eat; low quality restaurants, food prepared in standard American ways. But not this day. For this first time ever dinner was delicious smelling (and tasting, according to my husband) homemade chili & cornbread, followed by homemade pumpkin cheesecake, which was apparently "heavenly".
              Hoping my day 10 feels as good as others', because day 7 and 8 have sucked.

              Thank you, Julian4077. Luckily, everyone is safe, as well as our homes. For now at least.

                Bit slower than the last couple, but it's all good. I was pretty tired today. Overall the diet felt fine. I had a lot of energy for the first half of the day. Delicious dinner.

                    My run went great tonight! I felt really good and was able to run for 3m straight.
                    Also had a really good day; got a lot done. This new diet has finally reaped some benefits. I got 8 hours of sleep last night as usual, but OMG I can do anything. I did all the laundry in the house - towels, linens, baby clothes, our clothes washed, dried, AND put away! - pulled up some carpet to see what is underneath, researched new flooring options for the upstairs rooms, and still Mama-d the whole. I didn't even have my usual afternoon slump! After all that I went on my run and did my exercises. I feel great and am gonna sleep well tonight.

                        Upperbody Level I - WOW my pushups are terrible. Something to build up once I'm done with this season of running.

                        My last few runs have been great! Feeling good. I've even run 4.5 minutes straight, which feels really nice to be able to do again. Trying not to go all out though, as I'm still a little worried about injuring myself again.

                        On the diet front, I have reached halfway and finally don't feel carb cravings anymore! Feeling pretty good, and I've lost 1" off my waist. I do still miss dairy though. Will be nice to reintroduce that.

                        Finally, in November, we have fall weather, and even the first rains! Feels so nice. Crisp, cold, wet air. I'm loving it.

                          Got some impressive runs under your belt. Glad to hear that you've gotten used to your new diet... it's so difficult to do that, I was never able to adjust totally.

                            Did not go on a run today; my toddler was not feeling well and needed mama all day. By the time that was done, I was exhausted, and since my back is hurting as well, I'm going to have to run tomorrow. What a day.
                            Additionally, my husband went to taco bell to get himself some food and oh holy crap I wanted it so bad. Thought I was over carbs, but I guess not. SO hard to not take a bite. I think it's bc of the cheese. I really miss cheese.

                              Uuuggghhhh.
                              My high energy is gone. I'm so damn tired again. I had no energy all day, and even my run felt shitty. Last 3 days now have sucked. It may be because I have no appetite now and so haven't been eating much. I'm just so blaaah about food. It doesn't taste as good and I'm bored of it now. I hope this exhaustion is temporary. Just 11 more days...

                                Zombies, Run! 5K Training Week 3 - The app updated and broke! Was unable to start week 3 of training, so today's run was instead just running drills of increasing length. I did 3-4 rounds of 1m run + 1m walk, 2-3 of 2:1, and then of 3:2, and finally one 4 minute run. Felt pretty damn good and I hit 5k!
                                Run session - 5.14km 46:45

                                I checked my stats and I haven't run 5k in one go since Sept 2015. I always got injured somewhere along the way. I am so happy! I made it! That's what this whole Season of Running has been about.

                                As for diet, I remembered that I once tried keto and felt terrible until I ate back up to 75g of carbs. Since I've been eating less, and what I do it is mostly veggies and meat, I don't think I'm getting enough carbs and that might contribute to my low energy. Hubs went and got me 10 yams and I'm gonna eat one every day for the reset of the diet. Hopefully that helps with my energy issues.
