Thank you everyone for your kind words. It has been a low-key August with a lot of rest. I've been doing Yoga with Adriene 30 Days of Yoga and been feeling good. I take the rest of my days slow and easy. I had to go to Costco yesterday and even that was too much. So for the most part I'm not doing much at all. Trying to be kind to myself and enjoy the downtime; more time to read, watch things, laze with my kid. Life is usually too fast-paced, so I'm trying to learn to go slower.
I did however get Ring Fit Adventure for the Nintendo Switch and I have done super short exercises on a very light level. Feel good to move. Not rushing myself, just lightly moving. Better than nothing.

I am forming a plan for what to do after yoga and when I want to start running again. But for now, I'm enjoying the slower pace.

    30 Days of Yoga: 1-13/30

    Intermittent Fasting: 16:08
Days of consecutive exercise (15m+): 0
    Daily Dares: 32
    Daily Dares +EC: 19
    Daily Meditation: 16

Are you doing Darebee’s 30 Days of Yoga? Or Adriene’s? Or both? Just wondering, cuz the link doesn’t open....
But, anyway, sounds like you’re having a good therapy month

I'm nearing a week off of running to rehab some pain in my right Achilles tendon and it's tough! I need to take inspiration here and be kinder to myself and let myself be ok with recovery or it's going to bite me (yoga seems like something good for me to focus on too). Awesome to hear updates and hope your recovery continues steadily.

DorothyMH I'm doing Adriene's 30 Days of Yoga from 2015 and enjoying it, for the most part.
oneironaut thank you! It wasn't easy at first, but I'm leaning into it and trying to be more accepting of my current place. I hope your rehab has been fruitful.

Yoga is going well and I've fallen into a good routine that I've stuck too for the entire month now; rising at 620 for yoga and meditation before continuing on with adulting/mothering.

Looking at current things I can do and how I've been feeling, I've decided to start the Back & Core program tomorrow. I am already able to do these exercises, so I am curious to see how I hold up doing them as dailies.

I will also be restarting From Walking to Running with wiggle room for a doubled timeline. I do want to start running again and I've been walking without any issues. However, in the name of safety, I won't necessary be holding to the daily regimen, and will allow myself to take extra days off in between if need be. Additionally, any running will be accompanied with dynamic warmups and yoga runner's cooldowns, with special emphasis on those exercises that are beneficial for those with herniated discs and sciatica.

I'm feeling a lot better lately! I'm still eating well and have even lost a bit of weight despite being less restrictive. Incremental steps seem to be much better for me than full resets and eliminations.

                Morning
30 Days of Yoga 24/30 - Gentle yummy yoga
Dynamic Running Warmup - Trying this out. Not sure how I feel about it yet.
                From Walking to Running 1/30 - (4m walk + 1m run) x3
                Yoga for Runners Cooldown Sequence

                Afternoon
                Back & Core 1/30

Felt really good today! Was able to do my regular daily chores without any back issues. Only issue was ravenous hunger. Did my Walk/Run at 730ish but was going crazy for food by my normal fasting end time of 12. I will be adjusting to have a small breakfast, temporarily taking 14:10 (eating at 10) and see how that goes.

Whirly15 and DorothyMH it's always nice to have accountability buddies!

This past week has gone well! Routine:

                    Morning
                    30 Days of Yoga 25-30/30
                    Dynamic Running Warmup
                    From Walking to Running 2-7/30
                    Yoga for Runners Cooldown Sequence

                    Afternoon
                    Back & Core 2-7/30

Been feeling really good overall and seem to be managing my new walking to running routine without any pain. I've finished the 30 days of yoga and I'll be starting her Yoga Camp - another 30-day program from 2016 - on the first. It's nice to finally have a good morning routine dialed in, though I think I may experiment with waking up a bit earlier.
The Back & Core program is the perfect level for me right now, with some of the days being pretty challenging on my abs without hurting my back. Now I have some new goals to reach for!

This was the 30 Days of Yoga program of Adriene’s, correct? That was her very first one, so it’s got the same title as the DareBee one😜Hence, no badge issued for completion. Except the one “that makes you feel good” in your head!
