Tied my shoes too tight and one of the cords snapped near the end of it. Made it difficult to keep good speed.

      Diet
      Power Fast Meal Plan
Lunch: 1 cup leftover Garbage Soup (squash, beets, carrots, zucchini, radishes) with chickpeas and some added kale, 1 cup roasted bok choy, half slice of homemade lavender honey bread with butter.
Tea Time: Pu'Erh tea, an apple, and a handful of sunflower seeds.
Dinner: 1 cup rockfish fillet, 1 cup broiled mixed veggies

Today's Spartan Trial was much easier; crunches weren't really a problem, though definitely tough. But planks were odd. My shoulders were giving out before my abs, so only able to do level 1.
Run felt good again, despite the sandal mishap.
For food, I'm just going to eat as much as I can, and consider the 2 cups each rule to be a maximum, because I cannot seem to eat those amounts. I was also originally going to try not to snack, but I don't seem to eat enough to tide me over and it's more than 4 hours between each meal anyway.

DorothyMH Thank you! I was proud of myself for getting through it. Helps that I really love the workouts.

Very tired today. Woke up a lot last night for uncomfy pillows and boy did it show. Low energy all day and was really not feeling the Running training, but I did it and didn't stop. Luckily Spartan Trials was pretty easy again, though anything is easy after that first day!

WOAH MAN. Either I was the only one in my family to get food poisoning or I can't digest something well. I was up until 2 dealing with that awful mess. So husband got morning duties and I slept in (until noon! o.o ) and started my day slowly. Thank the fitness gods that today was all easy stretching, recovery stuff.

DorothyMH that has always been the easiest to shrug off for me in the past. Mental milestones!

I am so proud of myself today! Spartan Trials was squats and pushups:and not only did I do Level 3, which is 75 total pushups, but I did them ALL as full pushups! None on my knees. Such a huge milestone! I never thought I could do so many regular pushups in a day, let alone in 30 minutes with 4lbs of added weight. Definitely my best achievement so far. For the first time in a long time, I feel strong.

DorothyMH Thank you for the well-wishes! Feeling 100% now. So glad it was only one night!

Very tired today! But exercise felt good. I just need to get some more sleep. I've noticed some tightness in my calves so I'll need to yoga that out before bed. This is a night where I would LOVE a nice comforting bath, but we still haven't fixed the leaky pipe situation in that bathroom, so a shower and a footbath will have to do.
My husband got a job though! Starts on Monday. So hopefully we can recover from the recent financial failings due to Covid and be able to tend to that bathroom leak soon.

Thank you everyone for the encouragement. It feels really good to celebrate my goals with such a cool community. I couldn't have done it without you guys.

Edit: Did a post-runner's yoga with Adriene and my body melted. I think I'll try and figure a way to add a more regular yoga routine to my list, especially after jogs and tough Spartan Days.

You’re doing a lot, in both morning and evening workouts. I would think you *would* be tired!! Good job for pushing through!! Although, I would advocate for a nap in there someplace, since you’ve also got a kiddo to tend to

DorothyMH I wish I could nap! It tends to only happen when I am dead tired. Even when my little one was a newborn I think I only napped twice? I have trouble sleeping in general.... My sleep has been extra difficult the last few months, so in general I'm just a little tired. Luckily, I have an easy-going 2 year old. She even does little squats and "pushups" with me. Very motivating.

My cookie today was an emotional response to FedEx not delivering my weighted blanket package and saying they did. I'm dealing with it now, but I was just really looking forward to a good night's sleep. This is alarmingly common with FedEx lately, and a lot of times, people just have to talk to the company directly. It's not a cheap item either

Rest of the day was good. Got to have a break while the little one hung out with grandparents.

I hope FedEx is able to find your package - that is so frustrating! Also, a belated congrats on all those push-ups!

So very exhausted today and made worse by a very cranky daughter. Long day alone because husband went to work for the first time. Good news there. Gonna try to get on a regular schedule again.
Spartan Trials was tough today! Jump squats in there and balancing... tougher than I was expecting, for sure.

Whirly15 Thanks twice! I'm still amazed at myself. As for FedEx, they refuse to be any help. They say they for sure delivered it and someone must have stolen it. Except no one has ever stolen any of our other packages and I somewhat doubt they chose the 16lb one. And I'm home all day and checking for various packages. Plus the "Proof of Delivery" just says my city. Not even my address.
Luckily, the company I ordered from said if I file a claim with FedEx, they'll send me a replacement! I am really hoping that comes through.
