Okay so this one was done a little differently because I needed to progress today and I wanted to look into alternate ways to do so than the standard add reps/weight. Also, I still can't do full pull-up. For the first 3 rounds, I did the following:
      1. One-leg assisted pull-up x5 with 1.5 rep progression - (do 1 rep, go halfway down, then back up, then down. that is 1 rep)
      2. Bulgarian Split Squats x5 - 3-1-X-1 (3 secs down, 1 sec pause, explosive return, 1 sec pause)
      3. Pushups x5
      4. One-legged elevated glute bridge x10 (added more range of motion)
      5. Plank 30s

I did go a little to far on the pull-ups so had to step it down for the last round and will be adjusting for the next workout.
      1. One-leg assisted pull-up x6
      2-5 Same as above.

I did really well on the plank! I'm surprised at how well I was able to do 30s. I mean, it was still hard, but it was doable and I only started to get tired in the last 5-10 seconds. Nice to see improvement.

Still pretty tired today, so I'll be heading to bed soon. So initiates the last 2 weeks of this strength program. Oh and eating for the last 2 days has been atrocious. Will need to work on getting good sleep and meditating if I have any hope of sticking to an eating plan when I do Spartan Trials.

          1. One-leg assisted pull-up x6
          2. Bulgarian Split Squats x5 - 3-1-X-1 (3 secs down, 1 sec pause, explosive return, 1 sec pause)

          4. One-legged elevated glute bridge x10 (added more range of motion)
          5. Plank 30s

Weird workout feels today. Tired from lack of sleep, and weaker than normal, but also still strong?

Used too much energy cleaning my patio out before the workout and after lunch I just had no energy at all for the rest of the day. When I'm tired, I eat terribly. I really need to focus hard on sleep to make sure I can have the energy for Spartan Trials and to stick to eating healthy. Sleep is my biggest challenge though, and nothing seems to shut my mind up when ready for bed - not meditating, journaling, reading.. nothing. This has always been a problem though so I guess I just have to accept it as a lifetime of push and pull.

            2. Bulgarian Split Squats x5 - 3-1-X-1 (3 secs down, 1 sec pause, explosive return, 1 sec pause) (for first 3 rounds. on 4th round just did 10 regular each leg)
            3. Pushups x5
            4. One-legged elevated glute bridge x10 (added more range of motion)
            5. Plank 30s
Felt pretty strong overall, though I may be overdoing it with the squats progression.

Today was a pretty relaxed day, and I still managed to get some things done. Hubs and I got to play some games together for a change since our little one was with her grandparents.

I am really looking forward to Spartan Trials! I can't wait to get this program done. I was looking it over alongside the Walking to Running program and it looks like rest days match up well. I can restart that on the 30-day timeline it is supposed to be on. I've got a new sleep routine as well, and I'm hoping this one helps more than previous ones.

Today was pretty bad. Despite going to bed early and getting about 10 hours of sleep, I was tired all day. I felt this weight and fog over me and had a migraine. Husband pointed out that’s how he feels when his allergies are bad. I looked it up and the pollen is bad lately so I guess that’s a new thing to keep in mind. I’d only had small inconveniences up to this point.
recommended to keep windows closed through the night too, so that’s even more AC we need to use

this really stopped my whole day - didn’t cook any healthy meals either. Then my best friend and I got into a fight? About nothing? I don’t even know what she’s upset about, but she was in a bad mood from the start. So today is just a day that’s better off done.
Tomorrow is a new day, week, and month. I’m looking forward to trying out the June challenge.

Allergies were much better than yesterday, as low of a bar as that is, so I was able to go out and get some generic allergy meds. I was able to do my strength workout, just took it very slow. Even so, I felt so tired that I took a nap afterword.
I don't know how regular allergy sufferers do so much exercise, or exist in general.

First day waking at 7 again. Definitely needed a pick me up around 1600. Need to stick with this for at least a week before I normalize. Only one more week of this boring strength routine! That's only 6 more days of the routine. Getting close. I really enjoyed doing Cake is a Lie and it reminded me how much I like the DareBee workouts - so variable and fun while challenging.

DorothyMH You were the first to pop up when I thought of that! You mention allergies on your Boo walks and I just cannot imagine doing as much as you do with bad allergies.
Fremen too? I didn't know you had allergies. All you high performers are kicking ass and taking names while barely breathing!

I am the living demonstration that there is hope even for asthmatics
At twenty years of age in the worst periods he had 1/3 of the lung capacity of a normal person, with time, medicine but also personal commitment I improved
I have not been taking any medicine for 20 years now but I still have a hay fever that annoys me
I noticed that training even when I am in the worst moment of allergies helps me to increase my ability to exert more and more
