    not so much because of the bunnies

    Starting a new check in log - title is taken from a line in Julio Cortazar's short story "Letter to a Young Lady in Paris." Does it have anything to do with exercise? Not particularly. But it's a phrase I won't mind looking at everyday when I post my check-ins, and a story I hope all of you will read!

    Since I was here last - somewhere around April I think - I had to travel a ton for work, bought a house, sold a house, moved, was working 80 hour weeks (so glad that's over now) and as we've been trying to settle into the new place we get hit with AC repairs, sprinkler repairs, water damage, and *dare I say it* BED BUGS - all courtesy of the previous owners. We are working through things, but needless to say it's been a difficult time and exercise has taken a seat waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay in the back.

    So - all these things are being dealt with the best we can (repairs, exterminators, sometimes forced positive attitudes) and we are trying to push forward. Part of pushing forward means getting myself back on track with fitness.

    I cleared out my consecutive days badge - it was 100. When I stopped in April I was at day 126. The most I've ever done in my LIFE. I also cleared out my daily dares badge. It will help me a ton to watch these being built back up.

    Will be picking a program today and beginning tomorrow.

    Very thankful for this site and the hive.

        Did 7 rounds of day 1 of foundation light. Decided not to go too crazy to get restarted. Woohoo

          3 rounds of foundation light day 2. Slept horribly last night so I almost skipped working out. Talked myself into it right before bed. Maybe I'll sleep better! Nighy night all

            7 rounds foundation light day 3!! Did a meditation before bed last night and slept way better, too.

              No foundation light today, but did go on a hella long walk during a tour of Toyota headquarters. Up and down 5 plus flights of stairs and all over that campus for 90 minutes!

                Forgot to post last night. 30 minute walk, ran up 4 flights of stairs, and I think I'll count the 2 hours of dancing I did at a concert we went to last night. My calves are killing me today! Lol

                    Forgot to post yesterday, but I did a yoga wth Adrienne upper back yoga session. Day 1, again! About to do another back yoga for day 2. Back has been really bothering me lately.

                        I'm super terrible at doing regular updates so I'm going to not worry about it and only update when it's a big deal. I have once again completed 30 days of consecutive exercise!!!!! Woohoo! I'm trying hard to get my streak back. Hooray!
