My shoulder hurt the whole day.. I kept doing stretches.. surprisingly(for me) it stopped and felt pretty relaxed when I did meditation for a while to motivate myself to somehow get the days workout done..

Not only did the hurting stopped but I felt very relaxed and energetic.. with that I completed IB 10th day.. one day at a time.. slowly but steadily..

    That's 10 days in a row of a program..

I actually combined the leg day of IB with the squats to be done in the challenge. hope this is fine..
I feel like I will need some rest.. So I am thinking about taking a break from IronBorn for a day or 2 and do some light stretching or recovery workouts..

will try to do the D12 - abs day and will see if I can continue or take a day or 2 break stretch and rest and then restart..

D7&8 of Punches & Squats Challenge
          D12 of IronBorn
          D6 of Core Strength

I think I was mentally exhausted and down on saturday & sunday realizing that lockdown has come to an end and it's 100% working from today at office..
I rain-checked and accepted the reality and was energetic enough by the time I was back from office..
I even went ahead and did 25 X 3 sets squats with 6kg weight..
I hope that there is as much burn as I feel the fire due to all those twists and taps and crunches today..
Overall a good day and will decide on how I feel tomorrow morning about taking a break with Iron Born..

I guess I can claim the badge even if I take a day or 2 break during the entire program is it supposed to be completed in one go only??
          you views bees..

              Thanks alot Fremen..
I thought so too.. but I think I'll try and continue only.. even if I am able to do only the Ironborn and continue the others later..
so I can do that with core strength, which I already skipped a few days and am recovering the days based on my energy levels....

This assumes you are doing all the days’ workouts, just spreading them beyond 30 days, correct?

yeah, that's the plan.. but with all the encouragement and the 15 days badge in the vicinity.. I feel like I should push through..
Thanks a lot PrincessFancy... yesterday really was a good day.. I went through a bit of your check-in thread and found you to have the upper body issues (something related to shoulder).. Thanks to you I will plan to do Baseline next month..

And DorothyMH & Fremen Thank you for the clarification..
I don't know how but today is the second time that meditation makes my shoulder relax a lot.. I mean, generally I'll have that feeling of something being there at the shoulder.. but after meditation the shoulder feels pretty good, until the time I do something to load it again.. ( not the regular work but something like an exercise..)

So.. with that I found a way to deal with my shoulder for now.. But will do the Baseline & Power-up programs after IronBorn..

                    Today in the morning:

                    D13 of IronBorn
                    20 mins Meditation..
2 more days for the 15 days badge..

                        I am pleased to

                        For the shoulders I recommend:
Warm up: Rotator Cuff Workout (at the beginning)
Stretching: Shoulder Stretch Workout (at the end)

Thank you Fremen .. I was doing W-Extensions & Reverse angels.. will add these now to my regular warm-up & Stretch routines..
I found a link (basically a paper) which said that meditation does take a unique approach in healing or reducing the pain in any part of the body.. essentially just being more mindful.. There seems to be a lot of research on this..

                          Anyway coming to workouts..

                          20mins meditation
started and did 1set of D7 of core strength.. but didn't felt like continuing..

will see how the evening goes.. what I realized during the last 3 days is if I do workout before Dinner I am set to complete any and all.. But if I feel hungry and have dinner first then its only draggging my self to do something for the day..

Thats why today, I woke up early and am trying to complete 1 workout properly with full intention..

With meditation and a work on breathing you will certainly relax your contracted muscles and this will help you heal

Maybe you can eat something small an hour before working out and then dinner afterwards.

Yeah, exactly.. earlier I used to snack on nuts during office.. now its been quite some time (since lockdown).. I will have to get some to snack at office..
last weekend broke my flow with the Core strength program.. I will have to try and pick it up before completely dropping it..

                                Anyways.. it's Day 14..
                                D14 of IronBorn..
