    Training of the Fae

    Hello! Saw how other people have their tracking posts set up, and I'm super excited to get my own going.

    About Me:
    As of 9/10/2019, I am brand new to this site. I just finished my first day of my first program. I'm doing the Foundation Light program right now. My current weight is 328. I am 28 years old, mom of two kids. I have multiple conditions that affect my physical health - including arthritis, lupus, thyroid disease, binge eating disorder, etc. I am working on those in counseling, but I still have to get moving eventually. I can't just sit around saying, "Well, when I'm better physically, I can start moving." I'm not going to get better. This is my 'getting better'. I need to move to prevent myself from becoming worse and to hopefully improve my conditions and weight.

    Current Challenge: Foundation Light

    Just a couple notes from my first day:

    I didn't do any sort of warm up or stretching. I regret that. Even though the program I'm on wouldn't even be a warm up for most people, my hips are very angry at me for doing small side leg raises without warning them first. I definitely need to figure out slow, easy warm up routine for myself. The ones the site has suggested would be an entire workout for me. I've been almost entirely sedentary for over a year.

    All of that being said, I looked ahead at the days to come, and none of the exercises look threatening to me. That's a big motivation. A lot of the time, I look at routines, and I am absolutely certain I couldn't even do the first thing. I looked at the regular Foundation program, and I don't think I could do it in my current condition. My plan moving forward is to do this Foundation Light program. When I'm done, I want to reassess to see if I'm capable of moving on to the regular Foundation program or if I need to repeat the Foundation Light at maybe a higher intensity.

    My hope goal is to be able to do the Foundation and Yoga programs after this Foundation Light program. We'll see!

      anniefae Welcome to Darebee! Excellent work on the program look forward to seeing that badge Yoga should help out that hip Pigeon pose too

          anniefae Welcome tp The Hive and Darebee.

          I use the Classic Warmup everyday, even if will be several hours before I do the exercises. I use it to get started for the day and get the muscles ready for activities.

          Iโ€™m on my second round of the Foundation, first at Level I and now at Level II. Did 30 Days of HIIT in between, and tried the 30 Days of Action, but Iโ€™m not quite ready for that.

          Good luck and post you daily workout to keep yourself accountable.

              Hi anniefae, and welcome! You sound very body aware and conscious of what you can do versus what can cause harm this early on. Thatโ€™s an excellent start. Like RockNTennessee said if you keep posting here, we will cheer you on, and you will find it easier to be consistent. Which is key!!๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ
