I'm new to the site and I've gotta say I'm liking it so far. I think the logs are a good way to stay active and are great for motivation. I'm going to try and keep a journal going.
A few coworkers and I decided to start our journey to Hero-hood on a whim. We can all stand to lose a little weight and trim down and this seemed like a fun way to do it. Plus the added bonus of a little friendly competition. I started in slightly better shape than them, but am working through some injuries. Glad to be here.
Dear journal,
Today is day 11 of our months long journey to hero-hood and things have been going well. I seem to be affected less severely than my cohorts. I bellyache less than them and my recovery time seems to be much faster. I know I started out in better shape than them, but listening to them talk about their aches and pains makes me wonder if I'm doing things wrong, maybe going to easy on myself. I'll have to try and step up. Because of my plantar fasciitis, I was unable to scout on foot yesterday. Instead I covered an adequate 17km on my trusty steed. She's getting old and hooves getting flat but we managed. What's a hunter to do if he cannot use his bow? It seems as if I was injured today. I don't think it's that bad and it may be but a scratch. I'll have a better idea when I get to the inn later this afternoon and take a good look. Maybe there'll be priest or mage with healing powers upon my arrival.
Until tomorrow. May the light be with you
