      9/9/2021 (Day 174 again)
Wienerschnitzel Day, Steak Au Poivre Day, Wonderful Weirdos Day, Teddy Bear Day, International Day to Protect Education from Attack (UN sanctioned) and the national days of North Korea and Tajikistan.

Started the week strongly then today it all came unravelled. 0830 Ihad to head up the coast and help look for a lost person which took up the entire day. I didn't get back until evening and I was so knackered I only managed:

Daily Squats 30-day challenge: Day 9 - Done
Exercise of the Day (9/9/2021): 80 Low Turning Kicks - Done
Baseline program: Day 1 - Done at Level 3 because I needed something and this was not too demanding and I was looking to take on another tier 1 program.

Thank you DorothyMH and TopNotch . Yes DorothyMH Land Search & Rescue is one of the functions of my job. It is not necessarily a glamorous job but it can be very rewarding. Sometimes even if it is to bring closure for the family as was the case on Thursday & Friday.
TopNotch. I don't get it either. But the way supermarkets are it doesn't surprise me. We see Hot Cross Buns in the supermarkets around Australia Day and Christmas stuff in October/September so why not eh?

                Sunday

Baseline program: Day 4 - Done at Level III.

And today's exercise of the day - wrestling with Venetian Blinds. A beautiful day so it was decided that the blinds should be brought down and cleaned. OMG! What a nightmare trying to wrestle with them. I don't know who invented them but I was muttering some very unpleasant things about their heritage trying to get the blinds in and out. This task was right up there with trying to remove the sliding screen door from the French Balcony. Anyway spring cleaning done. Barbecue and beer time.

...and then slammed by work. We'll see if it eases up. Ironically the boss asked if I had been in the gym today and laughed when I explained that I couldn't because I was snowed under by the work he dumped on me. I'm sure he just likes to tease.

Well things just went from busy to hectic. Boss has now volunteered me for a course in the lovely regional town of Goulburn for the next week. Never mind I was meant to be off and enjoying family time while the kids are on school holidays but nope wasn't going to happen. Never mind the joining instructions or pre-course work, just be there for a 9am start on Monday!

Anyway best get something done while waiting for the pre-course material to surface.

Short walk to get coffee this morning but FitBit playing up so would have trouble tracking it anyway. Anyone else have trouble with a FitBit Versa 2? My screen is fading or getting washed out with a green hue. I look after it so not sure what the problem is. It still under warranty considering I only bought it on the 3rd May. I like the feel and the comfort of it but have really bad luck with electronics. This laptop is a replacement consider the first lasted about 1-2 months before a terminal BSOD.

Pathfinder program: Chapter 14 - Done (8 sets)

Your Transformation Starts Here (Volume 1) program: Day 35 Rest Day - Done

Anyway not a lot of exercise today as meant to be studying for upcoming work course next week. (Knew they'd throw in pre-course readings and study material). But tip of the day - don't sit in the sun with a few beers trying to study. It is too distracting. I had a little visitor on our aloe vera plant so thought I'd test out the camera my son inherited from his grandfather. His grandfather didn't think to hand over a battery charger or cords but eBay to the rescue and its up and running.
