        They pay a lot of attention to the wellbeing of the donor here too. Last time I donated blood the doctor pointed out that my hemoglobin levels were barely above the minimum requirement, while before it was much higher and she made me promise to pay attention to that. Before my first donation the doc didn't believe me that I weighed enough and refused to let my blood be taken until I found a pharmacy where they would weigh me. Now that I've basically become a regular donor, they trust me on that.

        And the Blood Transfusion Service here sends us a message too when our blood has been sent to a hospital.

                My family used to donate together but a couple of years ago I got told I couldn't drive for 8hrs after donating so that has nixxed my contribution!

                  Wow Io6 I haven't heard that one. I am generally told not do any heavy lifting for about 4 hours afterwards but nothing about not driving. In fact they offer to validate parking at my donor centre.

                    Fireheart program: Day 3 - Done at Level 3 (just). Core isn't that strong yet but getting there albeit slowly.

                    AM Gym Session
                    Daily Dare (25/11/2020): 10 Cross Tricep Extensions - Done but no extra credit. First time doing these for me. My lack of co-ordination shone through here with first attempt and me face first into the floor. Unfortunately it didn't get much better. Somehow I managed to get 10 done but I won't be racing out to do them again too soon. Definitely need to work on tricep strength.
                    60 Days of Cardio program: Day 3 - Done at Level III (as a warm up)
                    Built By Science program: Day 15 Chest
                    * Barbell Incline Bench Press Medium Grip (47.5 kg x 8 reps x 6 sets). Last couple of sets were a struggle.
                    * Decline Dumbbell Bench Press (17.5 kg x 8 reps x 4 sets)
                    * Push-Ups (15 reps x 2 sets, 10 reps x 1 set + last 5 on knees, 9 reps + last 6 on knees). No strength left
                    * Lying Cable Chest Fly (10 kg x 12 reps x 3 sets, 15 kg x 12 reps x 1 set)
                    Dead Hang 30-day challenge: Day 15 - Done

                            * Chin-Ups (1, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2). First set I tried from the ground and jumping up with little success so ensuing sets were done from a flexed arm hang.
                            * One-Arm Dumbbell Row (15 kg x 8 reps x 4 sets)
                            * Incline Dumbbell Row (15 kg x 8 reps x 4 sets)
                            * Standing Face Pull (30 kg x 12 reps x 4 sets)
                            Fireheart program: Day 4 - Done at Level III
                            Dead Hang 30-day challenge: Day 16 - FAIL. Maybe too much today. I'll try again later.
