Worked in: yoga d12 ten minute meditation

Thoughts for today: from an unknown Inuit:
“I think over again my small adventures,
My fears, those small ones that seemed so big,
For all the vital things I had to get and reach
And yet there is only one great thing,
      The only thing:
To live to see the great day that dawns
And the light that fills the world.”

Check it out! Yoga, glads, com HIIt, 2 x d of d. Check, double check.

Have to help someone special move tomorrow, a couple hours to the coast, and new apartment up the stairs. Might not post, but will put in the exercise.

                    Thought for today:
Difficulty reveals the true self. Therefore when misfortune happens to you, consider it as though God, like a top wrestling coach, has paired you with a violent sparring partner. Why? So that you may become an Olympic champion; and championships are not won without sweat. -- Epictetus

(Thanks BlackButler ! I think it's almost 1year. I followed Neila Rey's superhero workouts way back when, then found out about Darebee early in 2018 and started following informally w/o a profile, but then I found out about the BADGES!!!)

Yesterday was d21 for Gladiator, combat HIIT, and yoga. Plus, moving daughter into her college apartment, up 4 stories at a time. Today check in: glads, yoga, HIIT d22 each √

Goal: put up a good fight vs. Father Time and his tag-team partner Entropy.

Thought for the day: when the student is ready, the teacher appears; when the student is again ready, the teacher disappears.

Check in: added gratitude 30d challenge. I guess we could all use this challenge. I know I can.

I tried something different with today's Combat HIIT.

D23 includes a four punch combo: jab, cross, upper cut, hook. The graphic shows a left jab, right cross, right uc, left hook.

I try to do the exercises as realistically as I can. So, strictly following this combo gave me the feeling
that I would be unprotected on my right, since after the cross I drop into a semicrouch, drop the right shoulder, and drop the right fist for the UC. Wide open for a left jab/left hook combo. The uc is such a short range punch anyway, it's not easy to connect right after a long range straight cross. Finally, I just feel unbalanced with L R R L sequence. So I did LJ, RC, LH, RUC. It feels more balanced, and progresses in w/ each punch from long to short range. But enough about me....

✓✓✓ Gladiator, Yoga, combat HIIT, Gratitude. Also snuck in 2 d of d .

Goal: begin with the end in mind

Thought: “I don’t count my sit-ups, I only start counting when it starts hurting, when I feel pain, that’s when I start counting, cause that’s when it really counts.” – Muhammad Ali

Here's something to work 'in' with:
"Advice given to a young Native American at the time of his initiation:
As you go the way of life,
You will see a great chasm. Jump.
It is not as wide as you think.”
