              Just letting everyone know I'm okay! I fell off a 264 day streak really swiftly and have been having a hard time getting started back up. I think my plan is to ease back in and hopefully get back to running asap. Past few days I'm lucky to squeeze in 2-3 minutes of jumping jacks but I know getting moving again will help me feel better. Your messages mean very much to me and hope I didn't have anyone too worried. Falling off mid winter seems to be a trend now (don't want to make excuses) and it's been surreal to careen off track so long after running in my first blizzard late last year. Love you all and will hopefully be back more substantially soon!

                    It's good to hear from you oneironaut . Good plan on squeezing in the jumping jacks when you can. Running in the winter is hard for everyone. Returning to running after an injury is hard too. You got hit with the double whammy this winter, but your plan to ease back into things is a good one. You can do this!

                            Starting to force myself to take walks after work today and yesterday. Need to get moving again and anything will do for now. I noticed something interesting in my walk graphs (this one is from the 1st):

                            The peaks in speed seem to be almost exactly 2 minutes apart despite focusing on maintaining my quickest possible walking pace. I wonder if there's a biological process that's oscillating my speed (lactic acid or something).

                            Anyway it feels good to move again even though it's very minimal.

                            Really thankful for articles like How To Get Back Into Training and others (Why we lose motivation and how to get it back) on this site as I've been looking for whatever it takes lately. Missed you all and have been barely existing as I distract myself from reality constantly but taking some baby steps now to snap out of it.

                                I seriously missed you too and almost forgot... Dreams:

                                Feb 28: Flying around in a one-person helicopter pod that was built by Amazon. I'm flying over the Charles River in Boston and people are looking up at me from Kayaks.

                                Mar 1: In a cabin with my niece and nephew and there's a live deer inside. We roll it up in a carpet and decide we have to kill it. I am pushing a tanto blade into its heart through the carpet while my niece and nephew watch besides me.

                                Mar 2: In another country's airport and I see Adam Savage from myth busters eating fancy food and feel jealous. Later I'm going through airport security with my friend from Alaska.
