      - Good Morning, World! Challenge: Day 16 (60 seconds jumping jacks)

      - Classic warmup
      - 20x5 Running Program: Day 16 (2.2 miles in 20m12s; 6.5 mph pace)... walked a bit at the end (included in time)
      - Daily Gratitude Challenge: Day 16 (see below)

Looking forward to the long weekend helped motivate me to clean things up and take care of business today. Got $100 in quarters for the laundry machines in my apartment, picked up a few groceries, did 4 loads of laundry, vacuumed a little bit, and took care of a few other things that had been on my list for a while.

Lamenting the fact that I broke down and walked at the end of my run today. Experienced waves of nausea at the end that might have been from eating too much, the heat (solid 70F tonight which is a big jump from my other runs this week), or something else. Even with the walking I managed a decent pace though so maybe I was just moving too fast in combo with the heat.

      Gratitude:
      - Friday + long weekend
      - Took care of business (laundry is clean)
      - Orange juice

Good idea to stop running when you're feeling nauseous.
        Congratulations on the laundry win!

I lump walking in with running when it’s DURING your run. Don’t sweat it, you’re still killin it!!

You're doing great!! Even though it's good to push yourself, it's most important to listen to your body I think everyone has off days, but what's most important is consistency, not perfection!

                - Good Morning, World! Challenge: Day 17 (60 seconds jumping jacks)

                - Classic warmup
                - 20x5 Running Program: Day 17 (Five Minute Plank Workout * 2)
                - Daily Gratitude Challenge: Day 17 (see below)

Holy smokes planks are difficult. I cheated my way through five minute plank workout twice and was sweating by the second minute both times. Even though I'm sweating I'm worried that just 10 minutes (with my cheating) isn't quite enough but those feelings have been a recurring trend with the shorter ab workouts.

Did a lot of napping and lounging today but also took a pass at updating my linked in which I've been telling myself I'd do for the past several weeks. Tomorrow maybe I can finish my resume updates and put those behind me for a bit. I think part of my anxiety is feeling like I'm trapped at my job (which I'm thankful I have right now). It should be a relief though to feel like I am better prepared for whatever may occur.

                Gratitude:
                - Got linked in stuff started (stopped procrastinating on it)
                - Weather cooled down again (which should make my run tomorrow more like other recent runs)
                - Pulled out my yoga mat which makes my toes less likely to slip on the carpet during planks (especially when wearing socks)

Planks in socks does turn into an exercise in reversing or taking your socks off while maintaining the plank! 2x 5min plank, however you cut it sounds like a good ab workout.

10 min in plank should definitely be enough for a decent ab workout...

Don't worry about walking. Your body is trying to tell you something. It's no fun stopping your run to vomit

                        - Good Morning, World! Challenge: Day 18 (60 seconds jumping jacks)

                        - Classic warmup

Tonight's run was nice; A bit of wheezing but think I'm having some mild allergies to some of the pollen in the air recently. The temp tonight was cool and I went out a bit later than usual keeping a slower steady pace.

                        Gratitude:

                        - Long weekend
                        - Saw a bright red cardinal from my window today
                        - No nausea on the run this evening and it felt pretty nice

Most countries have outlawed the plank. A move I suport wholeheartedly!

Yeah whenever I do the plank for too long my neck gets cramped.

                              - Good Morning, World! Challenge: Day 19 (60 seconds jumping jacks)

                              - Classic warmup
                              - 20x5 Running Program: Day 19 (2.2 miles in 21m2s; 6.28mph pace)

Weird day today; binged on sugar last night and my digestive system was angry all day. Muscles felt weak yesterday and today and last night after my run I had a few steps walking in my apartment where it felt like something pinched in my ankle. The run tonight felt pretty good despite the weak feelings and somewhat sore calves. I think my allergies peaked or something and hopefully everything will calm down the next few days.

Went on a hike for about 2 hours today in a new park that turned out to be really nice. The new location is big enough to get lost with several main and side trails.

                              Gratitude:
                              - Found a new park that's really close by
                              - Saw TONS of wild pink lady's slipper orchids (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypripedium_acaule)
                              - My friend in Colorado (who also liked my pink lady's slipper photo)

I had a lot of sugar yesterday and I felt really weak. I had to start my workout later to eat properly long enough before. Sugar is not great in its less compound forms
