I have had sweet potato ice cream - both the orange sweet-potato-pie version and the purple ube version. I actually really love anything ube flavored. But also mixed-berries with chocolate sounds delicious too! (I'm also the person who has deliberately bought durian ice cream, so you may safely write me off as weird.)

I’ve had purple sweet potato ice cream and loved it. Was just gonna try durian fruit next time I was in Seattle at the international district and then March happened. So, it’ll have to wait. There were hotels in Vietnam last year that FORBADE durian being brought into the rooms!!

        - Good Morning, World! Challenge: Day 10 (60 seconds jumping jacks)

        - Classic warmup
        - 20x5 Running Program: Day 10 (Abs Pro level 1 (17 min))
        - Daily Gratitude Challenge: Day 10 (see below)

Thanks calendula; hopefully reflecting some of the inspiration I feel here back at everyone

The ice cream was in fact the mixed berry with chocolate variety but now I wish I had sweet potato ice cream! I was hoping for a black raspberry-like flavor (the ice cream version) and it came pretty close though I think it was slightly less distinct. I ate the rest of it (way too fast) and suffered some of the consequences today but nothing too bad lol (mostly feeling tired/sluggish from too much sugar). Hopefully will feel better and get the cleaning I planned on started tomorrow.

Waited until pretty late tonight to do my abs and Abs Pro destroyed me. My form was pretty sloppy but I broke a pretty heavy sweat. Think it was good workout and hopefully I can get better at planking with more practice (basically just restarted my core stuff so the difficulty isn't unexpected).

        Gratitude:
        - Naps
        - Cooked some hamburgers in the oven tonight and they came out nicely with some time under the broiler at the end
        - Orange juice felt super refreshing today

Ube for days! It's my favorite ice cream flavor for sure.

oneironaut I have never considered oven burgers... may have to try that out!

Wow... But did/would you do it again?

I have and would! Though typically only if there is someone else there who hasn't tried it and would like to. I like durian, but if there's durian ice cream, there's usually also some other flavor I like better.

                - Good Morning, World! Challenge: Day 11 (60 seconds jumping jacks)

                - 0.6 mile walk on a trail at a cranberry bog near me (just to get outside)

                - Classic warmup
                - 20x5 Running Program: Day 11 (2.2 miles in 21m09s; 6.24mph pace)
                - Daily Gratitude Challenge: Day 11 (see below)

Sasstronaut I think the oven burgers came out well (with the broiler finish) though I also find instant coffee palatable and generally prefer to cook as much as I can at a time to reduce effort.

Kanary Back when I lived in a co-op I once grabbed a candy that was out on the counter and brought it up to my room to try. A few seconds into tasting it I thought I'd made a huge mistake; did I accidentally eat the cat's heart medicine? What the heck is that taste? Surely this isn't food, etc... It turned out they were durian candies for everyone to try haha. I think I'd try durian again as long as I know what I'm eating next time.

Tonight's run was slow but steady and solid. Felt great once I got out there. This whole weekend was sluggish and not really productive otherwise, but given that the run felt so good maybe it was needed rest. I've got a bit of a backlog on personal stuff including laundry so I'm going to have to keep it movin' this week to catch back up. I do feel good that I went out to the trail but maybe next weekend I can be more deliberate and spend more time in an even cooler place.

                Gratitude:
                - I saw turtles near the cranberry bog today!
                - I saw red winged black birds at the bog today
                - Got to tell my durian candy story =P

Definitely not on the same coffee page but oven burgers deserve a try. I still haven't tried Durian anything, though I really want to.
Good job getting out there for a steady workout.

Tonight's run was a little chilly but my body temperature evened out about half way (and felt good by the time I finished).

Tomorrow marks my 1 year anniversary of finding darebee and I'm looking forward to doing a bit of a review/write-up.

                    Gratitude:
                    - Stayed focused throughout work day
                    - Avoided coffee after work day
                    - Have been staying on track with fitness

Abs/core tonight. Definitely think I need more to target abs/core (probably back & core program soon).

Tonight makes 1 year since I found Darebee. Putting off my 1 year review until the weekend. Don't want to feel rushed putting it together and will probably want to stew in the nostalgia for a bit.

                              Gratitude:
                              - Starting to feel some ab results from 20x5 program
                              - Coffee
                              - Overcame procrastination on a work task that actually only took a few minutes
