    Just another of those logs...

I discovered darebee after it was linked on reddit and since I was getting sort of bored with my routine, I decided to try some workouts which I liked. Today, I decided to start the 90 Days of Action program - I hope I can finish it!

A little bit about my fitness journey: it basically started when I did Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred in 2012. After completing it, I stopped exercising for a long while, until I decided to really start losing weight in 2014. I did the shred again and then would do that and some other workouts (mainly Jillian Michaels and Popsugar Fitness) sporadically while on a student exchange abroad. The location I lived in during my exchange and the fact that I'm a cheapskate sort of forced me to ride the bicycle a lot and I lost a significant amount of weight which I have been more or less maintaining ever since.
After returning from my exchange in 2015, I joined a gym and followed their recommended program. In 2017, I changed jobs and it became more and more tedious for me to also go to the gym after getting home, so I quit and started following the Blogilates calendar instead. I followed that pretty much religiously until some time last year, when it started getting boring. I went through a phase of doing random workouts on YouTube, without a real schedule and mostly focusing on cardio. A little more than a month ago, I noticed that I had gained weight and decided to switch it up yet again by making myself a plan what to focus on for each day of the week and do Fitnessblender workouts for the respective target area. As I currently don't have access to any equipment other than a mat, my choices here were sort of limited and I finally decided to take on Darebee instead I had done some Daily Dares the past few weeks and really like how this site is structured and how many resources there are.

I hope I can follow this plan properly and will try to keep track of my progress here.

Classic Warmup - 90 Days of Action Day 1 (3 Rounds) - Morning Stretch

I still have a little trouble doing proper Push-Ups and had to go on my knees for about half of them
Other than that, it was a smooth workout for me and hope it'll go just as well tomorrow!

Quick Warmup - 90 Days of Action Day 2 (3 sets with fast normal high knees, 2 sets with slow high knees) - June 10 Daily Dare (40 raised leg circles) - Superhero Stretch

This one made me sweat a lot, as expected! Tomorrow is abs which is usually my favorite part of workouts. I also have a somewhat sore chest area from the push-ups yesterday.

EDIT: Additional evening workout: 4 Minute Warmup - Burn Off (3 sets) - Power Up Day One

I'm going to add "Power Up" to my morning routine tomorrow and will take a look at the daily workout as well.

          Natori, welcome!
i also used to do blogilates and fitness Blender! I didn’t think blogilates was boring, I thought it was too difficult! My tailbone was often hurting from many of the moves. I guess because my lower abs are too weak. I would like to try her workouts again, someday! I will probably do some fitnessblender again at some point too. Because Darebee also has training plans so I can input any kind of workout into those, not just from Darebee. I plan on going back and forth between darebee’s programs and training plans. And try to stay steady with darebee’s challenges and daily dares as bonuses.

Thanks for the link to the training plans, Hedwiga

I don't find Blogilates boring per se, but when you follow the calendars for a longer amount of time, a lot of the videos start to repeat themselves and you'll know them by heart at some point. So I just needed some new input.

              No problem!

I see, in the beginning I was randomly doing blogilates workouts mixed with “tone it up!” workouts and some other stuff too. As for Cassey’s calendars, I only attempted a few different versions that were “beginner” but I would got stuck on a workout, so I would keep repeating it until I could eventually complete the whole workout, but I never could, so I gave up. That discouraged me because it was the beginner calendars!
Seems like Darebee has 3 different difficulty levels ok for beginner.. 1/5 = “perfect for beginners,” 2/5 & 3/5 = “suitable for beginners.”

              Hope Darebee keeps you interested!

I see! I followed the Beginner's calendar at first and then switched to the regular calendar. I usually had no trouble completing the workouts - there are a few moves I still have to modify though or cannot do all the way through without modification. I used to feel bad for it, but now I accept that that is just what my level is Imho, the most important thing is to move!

Ah, that’s a good outlook! Like when taking a test and getting stuck on one problem, should skip over it to complete as many of the other problems instead of staying stuck on the one problem..
Sometimes I get stuck like that in general.. too high expectations to finish perfectly before moving to the next level!

the video I got stuck on was Cassey’s flapper dance routine.. the moves were not difficult, I just wanted to be able to complete the whole routine without any missteps!
(but some of her videos that required a lot of lower ab work were the worst! For me anyway.)

Dance Routines are super difficult for me, too! I have pretty much no coordination and I mess them up every single time. I know that though so I just stopped caring
