                  TopNotch I thought the Core Strength program worked well as it’s stated purpose: an add-on. Since I did a bunch of other things in March, I was not missing any pieces, and it was good that I had it at the end of each day. I was very happy with my structure this month. Although, I had it all planned for including the gym in the mornings, which I, of course, had to give up....but the program itself was fine, yeah. 👍🏼😎

                        Elliptical: 1.4 miles in 15 minutes at random high crossramps and high resistance, with 20 lb weight vest on

                        Bar work: 1 jumping chin up (to the bar!!) with slow negative & 1 jumping pull up (half way to the bar) and slow negative

                            AM-
                            Boo walk: 1 mile

                            Eliptical: 3.17 miles in 30 mins at random high to med crossramps and mod resistance

                            De-Stress Challenge, Day 1: 100 punches

                            Shoulder activation/shoulder with PVC

                            60 Days of Cardio program, Day 1: 10 jumping jacks, 10 seal jacks, 10 jumping jacks, 4 side to side lunges, 10 jumping jacks, 4 side to side lunges, <10 sec rest x 5 sets for level 2

                            Daily Dare: 60 seconds squats— done with EC

                            30 Days of Gravity program, Day 1: 15 lunge step each leg x 2 sets, 30 side leg raises each leg x1 set, 30 squats x 2 sets; Wall-sit to failure x 3 sets...30, 35, 40 secs, <1 min rest between all sets

                            Bar work: 10 scap shrugs, remain hanging from bar and do 10 hanging knee raises x 3 sets, <1 min rest

                            ROMWOD 20 min static passive stretching

                            Yoga with Adriene, April playlist, Nurture: Movement Medicine—Energy Practice....this was a really good, short, vigorous, precisely scripted practice which I would like to repeat sometime

                              Thursday, April 2

                              AM-
                              Boo walk: 1 mile, returned home to discover the bank down at the lake from the house to north was on fire with half a dozen trucks in front of our house, trying to get a hose down there to put out the fire😰

                              Elliptical: 2 miles in 20 mins at random cross ramps and mod resistance and 20 lb weight vest on

                              NOTE: Thursday was “weights day” at my gym. Therefore, I am gonna start X-Press Tone for that because I miss it and need to fit weights in someplace. I will wear the weight vest on Thursday, and NOT wear it otherwise. Probably be able to use heavier weights on the other days, but I won’t go for failure. I’ll plan for 10-12 reps max.

                              Express Tone program, Day 1: with 20 lb weight vest on-alternating bicep curls, 30 reps with 5 lb dbs, 10 side bends (each side) with (2)5 lb dbs, tricep extensions 10 reps per arm with 5 lb db, 10 core twists (each side) with both 5 lb dbs, <1 min rest, x 5 sets

                              Express Tone program, Day 2: Forward lunges 10 reps with 5 lb dbs, goblet squats 10 reps with (1) 5 lb db, 10 single leg dead lifts with (1) 5 lb db, < 1 min rest, x 5 sets

                              Mowed the massive lawns for 2 hours

                              Accidentally did Day 3 today, oops—-60 Days of Cardio, Day 3: 5 rounds of 10 jumping jacks & 2 plank rotations, <1 min rest x 5 sets for level 2

                              De-Stress Challenge, Day 2: 100 punches

                              Daily Dare: 2 minutes high knees— done, but NO EC. I did 1 minute x 2 sets with a minute rest😝

                              30 Days of Gravity, Day 2: Part 1—20 (modification for my weights day) alternating bicep curls, 20 raised arm circles, 20 sec raised arm hold, <1 min rest x 3 sets; Part 2— 3 sets of CLASSIC push ups to failure with time between sets equal to time to do the set...4 reps in 20 sec, 4 reps in 22 sec, 4 reps in 23 sec—-hey, I did them all as CLASSIC pushups!!😎🥳

                              Bar work: 3 jumping neg pull ups x 3 sets—-jumping from fully extended arms to over half way to the bar, with a slow descent down🥳👏🏼By the third set, my jumps were getting lower and the descent faster, however....but still. Progress😎

                              Yoga with Adriene, April playlist: Movement Medicine—Calm practice— this was helpful for all my anxiety today😓
