    And so the battle begins

Hello! I just joined the hive but I have been quite active with DAREBEE workouts... I am a crossfitter (if you know what that is) it is definitely not what people make it out to be but let's not get into that.

    Current Stats
    Height: 5' 5"
Weight: 127 lbs or 57 kg (I believe... I do not use kg often)
    Lean mass: 103 lbs
Fat mass: 24 lbs or at least according to the US Navy body fat calculator

Even though I am a crossfitter we don't work on everything that I would like to work on so that is why I am logging my progress.
    My Goals
    10 consecutive pull-ups
    50 consecutive pushups
    Run 5k in one go
    Build strength for a handstand
    Have a balanced diet
Lose somewhere around five pounds of fat.
Get 40 yard dash down to 6 seconds

= not done yet = finished

    Challenges
    Dead-hang
    Flex-hang
    Pull-ups lvl 1
    50 Pushups in one go
    Pull-ups lvl 2
    50 Pushups a day
    Super saiyan
    2-Minute abs
    Splits
    Five minute plank
    First thing water
Eight glasses of water a day
    50 burpees in one go
    Negative pull-ups

Each of these will be done throughout the year

BlackButler Thank you for the warm welcome! I am doing the open scaled. hopefully I will be able to RX it next year, when I have a bit more experience with crossfit (right now I have just under a year and a half). Looking at your badges, and your log, gifs, graphics, and gusto, you seem to be quite the fit individual.

      Cheers, T.S.

BlackButler Yeah, I scaled to knee pushups because my bodyweight skills are really lacking right now hence why some of my goals include high repetitions of bodyweight exercises. But still I loved every bit of it!

Sooo... today was not a day that involved much activity
Basically all I did was 3 pull ups and 60 calf raises and that is how it is going to be on saturday and sunday because I am quite busy
I also missed todays WOD for crossfit aka the open workout 19.4 but I will try to squeeze in pushups/squats etc whenever.

                Cheers all, T.S.

Unrelated to your workout, but your thread title immediately set this song playing in my head. And the Battle Begun by RX Bandits.

Your workout and challenges look good. Keep up the good work!

so far it's two days because I ate out on saturday...
