    Today is day 1117.

    Classic warm up
    Ironheart, day 2. 10 lbs in each hand for the lunges. 17 lbs for the goblet squats. 22 lbs for the one legged deadlifts.
    Peach workout, modified. 3 sets of 30 leg extensions, 3 sets 30 leg swings, 3 sets 30 side leg extensions. 3 sets 10 weighted glute flexes (22 lbs). 3 sets 20 clamshells, 3 sets 10 V leg extensions.

    Total post-warmup sweat/heavy breathing time, 20:24, so that's 2 for the week. ETA: day 22 floss

    February 19th was day 1115. I'm not likely to keep up the legs of steel challenge because I hate lunges. Side lunges and cossack squats I can deal with, but lunges, reverse lunges, lunge step-ups, etc. I dislike. My balance isn't great when I do those, plus my thighs start hurting where the muscle/tendon attaches to the upper edge of my kneecap and I don't trust that pain even slightly. If I had an in-person trainer or spotter to help me overcome that safely, maybe, but I'd prefer to stick to a workout plan that wasn't lunges every other day. ETA: I probably shpuld have said that I did 120 punches, and also flossed. Day 20 floss

    Anyway, today. Day 1116.
    Classic warm up.
    Starting in Ironheart. Day 1, I used 15 lbs per hand on the bicep curls, 10 lb per hand on the lat raises, 17 lbs for the tricep extensions, and 17 lbs per hand for the upright rows.
    Epic Arms, using 17 lbs per hand. 10 bicep curls but 40 punches per set.
    Captain On Deck workout level 1 with EC

    Approx 20 minutes total post-warmup heavy breathing/sweat time (I got interrupted and had to restart at one point), so that's 1 for the week

    Ah, nice. My cat caught one the other night, before the exterminator came, but it apparently managed to escape. She's been a better deterrent than the downstairs neighbor's dog, a Yorkie who doesn't seem to do more than BARK BARK BARK when the mice show up. I know terriers're supposed to be good ratters, but like any generalization it's not gonna apply to all of them, I guess. I made a point of stuffing #0000 steel wool left over from a furniture finishing project into as many potential access areas as possible, pouring borax along the walls/corners near the possible access points, and leaving mesh bags of crushed bay leaves in those general areas since the smell's supposed to be at least moderately repellent. Exterminator said that can vary in efficacy, though. Well, if nothing else the leaves are supposed to be insect repellent, too, and there's worse things than a house smelling of bay leaves. (And the bags are easier to retrieve and swap out than loose leaves themselves.)

    Anyway. Today's day 1114 of the streak, so the cat can have my chair in the meantime.

    Classic warm up
    modded Peach workout: 3 sets, 20 reps per leg, of leg extensions, leg swings, side leg extensions, clamshells. 3 sets 20 of V leg extensions, also of weighted glute flexes (seated on mat, shoulders braced against bench, knees bent, feet flat on floor, weight across lower abdomen; holding onto bench or otherwise resting hands/arms against bench, lift butt off floor until back is straight, then lower to starting position) using 17 lbs. weight. Additionally, 3 sets of 20 reps per leg, side leg lifts from lying position on floor. Rest time between sets about 10 seconds each, so that's EC all round.
    Day 1, legs of steel challenge, I hate lunges so much but I needed to fill out my time.

    22:04 heavy breathing/sweat workout post-warm-up so that's 2 for the week

    also yesterday was 30 days of floss day 18, I just don't feel like editing it; I'll try to remember to edit this one after I floss tonight. EDIT: okay I edited this one on the 20th but I did floss before going to bed so that's day 19 there.

    I hate mice problems….thankfully, I now have a Canoe doggo that is after them Our dog, Penny, that died 5 years ago was an excellent mouser. She would hunt anything. Boo, on the other hand, is a herder. Boo herded out a ferret that got into our basement one summer, so Penny could kill it. My experience with cats and mice has been that (our)cats wanted to PLAY with the mouse, but would then forget, and let them run free….eek! Then the mice nested in our washing machine controls, and shorted out the wires

    Counter workout, level 3, with EC (30 sec rest between sets)
    Epic Arms workout, doubled- 5x(20 alternating bicep curls, 40 punches), used 17 lbs per hand, so that's EC too

    20:16 sweat/hard breathing today so that's 1 for the week

    This has been a rough few days for various reasons. Chief among them is that I live in an old New England house that's been converted to three apartments, and it's wintertime, and between one thing and another on lower floors, the building has gotten mice. There was an exterminator visit the other day, I've been very, very glad that I live with a cat, and more glad that we keep the place neat and most of the pantry food is either canned or already in sealed containers, but there's going to be more containers soon to be on the safe side.

    Anyway, the thirteenth was day 1109, did easy cardio day 8 and floss day 14
    The 14th was day 1110, 100 punches, floss day 15
    15th was day 1111, 120 punches, floss day 16
    Yesterday was day 1112, 140 punches, floss day 17

    Feb. 11 was day 1107, although it was only Easy Cardio day 7 + floss day 12.
    feb. 12 was day 1108. 150 punches, floss day 13.

    Saw a greater scaup, aka a bluebill, down at the harbor today. And started cutting pattern pieces to sew a new bra, too. That's something.

    Today is day 1106.

    Classic warm up
    Easy Cardio challenge day 6
    Goliath workout, 18 lbs per hand except for lat raises which are 10 lbs per hand, got interrupted after set 2 of the deadlifts
    Will probably do weight workout tomorrow; for now I am going to leave this at 12:02 for the day, so we are still at 3 for the week as far as the survey goes
    Will floss later. ETA: floss day 11

    easy Cardio day 4
    Cardio Punch workout level 3, with EC
    Doubled Epic Arms- 20 bicep curls, 40 punches- using 15 lb weight in each hand

    Total post-warmup heavy breathing/sweat workout time, 20:42, 2 for the week
    Flossed upper jaw earlier today, will probably do whole mouth before bed, either way at least I got started on floss day 9. ETA: fully flossed.

    Gracias. I completed the pajama pants yesterday and started on cutting fabric for a new pair of underthings, then changed my mind; I have a new tunic in the works now instead.

    Forgot to edit it in but on Feb. 4 I flossed, too.
    Yesterday, Feb. 5, was day 1101. Merlin workout level 1 with EC. Thirty days of floss day 6.
    today was day 1102. 200 punches. Started the easy cardio for the day, got interrupted after round 1. Will try again tomorrow. Flossing day 7.

    February 3 was day 1099. Unfortunately I did not get to do Easy Cardio then, it was a mess of a day. I did, however, get my flossing done so that's day 4 of that one.

    Today is day 1100 of the streak.

    Classic warm up
    Easy Cardio day 2
    Captain workout. Only level 1, and only at cardio intensity rather than full HIIT, but I extended each exercise to 30 seconds instead of 20, and I only rested 30 seconds between completed sets of exercises.
    Epic Arms workout, unmodded, using 15 lb weights in each hand
    22:32 total non-warmup workout time, so that's 2 for the week

    on the sewing front, since 1/19/22 I have completed:
    two Greenstyle no-show thongs
    one Greenstyle low-rise no-show briefs
    one Greenstyle mid-rise no-show briefs with waistband added
    one Greenstyle high-rise no-show briefs (note: this feels like it'll stay in place when you put it on, but unless you're wearing a unitard or something, this cut isn't worth it; it doesn't react well to a lower pants waistline)
    one Seamwork 'Florence' lounge bra with optional channeling and underwires
    pattern drawn up to clone the pair of PJ pants I tore doing wide lunges
    flannel cut, pinned, and mostly sewn for the clone pants; still got to install the cuffs, elastic waistband, and drawstring

    Today is day 1098.

    Classic warm up
    Easy Cardio challenge day 1
    Started doing 100 pushups workout, realized I wasn't ready to do that one all the way through once, let alone five times
    Was doing Roamer workout with EC, but got as far as finishing set 4 and then got called upon for tech support at work; stopped the clock at 11:09 minutes of hard exercise (I was doubling the number of each set in Roamer to make it have a little more impact)
    Will edit this later to reflect flossing and/or any other workouts I may do
    EDIT: no other workouts, but thirty days of floss, day 3
