    Yesterday was day 927. 22 minutes/4.42 miles on the bike, pause for about ten minutes for birdwatching because we've got monk parakeets living on one of our electrical poles, then 6 minutes/1.8 miles home.

          August 18th was day 930. 120 punches before bed.
          August 19th was day 931. Only did ninety punches, scattered over the span of about half an hour.

              Went to pick up my weights and realized my last two rounds of Epic Arms had had the weight recorded incorrectly so I fixed that
              Epic Arms, 17 lbs per hand, 10 simultaneous bicep curls and 20 punches per forward foot for a total of 40 punches per set
              (10 standing weighted shrugs, 17 lbs per hand, + 20 overhead punches) x 5, no rest period beteen
              Not currently in the mood for more; it's not that hot out but it's 91% humidity and the a/c can't compensate for that

                August 23 was day 935. 100 punches.
                August 24 was day 936. 175 punches.
                August 25 was day 937. Had to go into the office to set up three physical computers rather than working from home. Rode the bike to and from the train into the city for a total of 3.73 miles, 21 minutes.

                  Today is day 938. Outside it is 33 degrees C/91 degrees F at Logan Airport. The heat index says it feels like 38 C/100 F. There is a heat advisory in place until 8 PM. I have an air conditioner and all the curtains except one are drawn and all the blinds are down, but I am not really thinking that today is a good day to attempt much in the way of weight training. Or particularly intense at all, really.

                  One minute of nonstop overhead punches

                  That's 20 minutes of exercise resulting in hard breathing or sweat, for survey purposes (Captain on Deck wasn't hard breathing exactly, but there was some sweating, and i could not have carried on much of a conversation while doing it, as my air was busy elsewhere, so I'm counting it)

                    I really appreciate that you also give the temperature in celsius. Helps me get an idea how hot it is where you live. And it sounds very hot. Kudos to you for working out in that heat.

                      Yeah, heated workouts are crazy for the sweating that happens Musta been high humidity too, then, I take it…..? That makes it even harder. I second the kudos for managing it.

                        I have a widget on my phone that gives the weather information pilots receive when they want to check nearby airports before taking off or coming in for a landing. It's given in a format that uses Celsius temperatures, so it's just as easy for me to report that number as it is to report in Fahrenheit. (The reports aren't all metric, because we still use knots as a measure of windspeed rather than a measure that makes more sense, but Celsius is the standard for aviation weather.) And yeah, it was pretty humid- I didn't get the number down but it was not a good one.

                        Yesterday was day 939 and 150 punches.

                          Yesterday, August 28th, was day 940. Either 175 or 200 punches scattered throughout the afternoon. Iost count.

                          Today is day 941. 40 minutes on the bike, 7.23 miles, went from riding a road about three feet above sea level to the top of a hill about 197 feet above sea level without getting off to walk, which is not bad if you're me.

                            23:52 continuous sweat generating/hard breathing-causing exercise, so that's two days this week for survey purposes

                                Today is day 946. I am still not feeling great. Classic warm-up, followed by Shark Week, with extra reps and EC
