June 13th was day 856. Daily Floss day 6 in the morning. Started Arms of Steel thirty day challenge, level 3.
June 14th was day 857. Daily Floss day 7 in the morning. Had a basic orientation call for new people at my company (I'm in IT, I was walking new hires through some of our basic IT stuff) go from 45 minutes scheduled to something like an hour and a half of run time, followed by an extended phone call in another area, leaving me just not in the mood to exercise at lunch. 150 punches overall done in two sets before bedtime. I will be restarting Arms of Steel from day 1 next week, I think, and do other exercises every day in the meantime.

Today is day 858 of the streak.

Daily Floss day 8 this morning.
      Classic warm up
Altered Peach: 3 sets 40 reps of everything except for glute flexes, I left those out, and V leg extensions, I did 3 sets 20 of those. 3 sets 40 reps of side leg lifts (20 lifts per leg) between the clamshells and the V extensions. 10-15 seconds rest between sets.
100 overhead punches to round out the clock.

Total sweating/hard breathing time, 20 minutes 27 seconds

today is day 859. I had trouble getting to sleep last night- badly timed chocolate/coffee dessert- and am exhausted today. I have done 250 punches and will note here in the morning if I manage to remember to floss before bed.

        ETA: Daily floss day 9.

June 17th was day 860. 100 punches, also daily floss day 10

Today, June 18th, was day 861. Walked 0.7 miles with a backpack full of clothes and a computer, then walked another 0.5 miles after a brief subway ride. 100 punches before bed. I may have flossed this morning, I don't remember. Probably not going to floss for a few days as i am waiting on new non-nylon-based floss to arrive first.

Today was June 19th. 150 punches, no flossing just yet. I'll probably restart the daily floss calendar from scratch once the Dental Lace arrives. I already did a solid 30 days, I'm mostly just reporting it here for accountability beyond eventual reporting to the dental hygienist.

Today was day 863. 200 punches. The Dental Lace should be available tomorrow when I get home from Boston.

I showed my mom a T-shirt I made using a pattern I drafted by copying a fitted tee that I liked. She was surprised at how well I'd done- I haven't been working with knits very long- and complimented me on getting good fabric. And then said that next time I made one I needed to make the shoulders a little broader. Don't know how much of that is due to upper body exercise but I'm just fine with making that kind of adjustment.... and possibly adding in something shoulders-wise on an ongoing basis to capitalize on the muscle work I've already done so far.

Yesterday was day 864. Did 75 punches before bed. Also did .47 miles of walking with a loaded backpack plus about a quarter of a mile more after I got off the bus. Exhausted from trip. But at least I did something.

                  Today is day 865.

Started Daily Floss again. Testing both the vegan and the silk versions of Dental Lace. I just don't want to throw nylon strips into the trash supply and have them get eaten by seagulls or whatever. I've found too many fishing line casualties on the beach.

                  Classic warm up
                  12345epic arms
15 lbs per hand, Arnold presses, 3 sets 8
29 lbs per hand, standing dumbbell shrugs, 3 sets 12
Arms and Shoulders workout level 1, but with double EC- 30 seconds rest between sets and arms were kept up from exercise to exercise instead of being lowered between sets
this is a total of 21:24 for survey purposes

June 23 was day 866. Daily Floss, 250 punches. Both varieties of Dental Lace work but are prone to breaking between my upper back molars because of how close the damn teeth are. I am working on getting around this fact but it ain't easy.
June 24 was day 867. I had to go into the office physically instead of working from home. I did 100 punches, 50 overhead punches, and walked about a third of a mile with two boxes weighing about four pounds each on my head (I had to get them to the UPS store for shipment and frankly it is just easier to brace awkwardly shaped things on my head with one hand than to carry them with two). I would have liked to have done more, but there is very little that ruins your ability to see straight and focus on anything physical quite the way smoke alarms going off at 6:30 AM for no good reason and interrupting what little sleep you were getting does.

June 25 was day 866. I got into the city and bought my new bike; it's a hybrid with slightly smaller wheels than before, but not the teeny wheels of those weird folding commuter bikes, and ten gears with no front derailleur. Seems to perform well. I took it out for 2.6 miles in the city and then 4.7 miles from the train station to home.

June 26th was day 877. Total distance of 7.6 miles on the new bike, average speed around 11 MPH.

                        Flossed, so that's something.

                          Today is day 878.

                          Classic warm up
Started to try Powerbuilt. Got protests from knees during squats, got worse on shrimp squat attempts. Okay, finding something else.
Knee Saver workout; I shall be working towards building them up or at least limbering them over time
                          Knee Tuner workout, with EC

June 28th was day 879. And it was one of the hell-days for the Boston area so I did a total of 100 punches and made a concerted attempt at daily floss, but wound up with a piece of the non-plastic floss stuck between two of my back teeth; it had to be worked out with a pick.
June 29th was day 880. Also a hell-day temperature-wise. 100 overhead punches. Held off on the flossing as my mouth was not feeling great. Will probably just drop that challenge until a later date or until I can get a water-based flossing system or something.

June 30th was day 881. Boston hit 100 degrees F for the first time in ten years. I did three sets of 15 pushups off the bathroom wall.

                                Knee Tuner workout with EC

Not sure how long I took but I"m sweating like a racehorse (it's cooler than the last three days but humid as hell) so I'm counting this for survey purposes
