    Today is day 831.

    Daily Floss day 11.
    Classic warm-up
    Daily Pushups challenge day 12, done in sets- 5 pushups, 10 punches per arm, 5, 20 punches per arm, 5, 30 per arm, 5, 40 per arm, 5, 50 per arm, 5, 60 per arm, 5, 70 punches per arm.
    Epic Arms workout using the Gaiam band, curls done with both hands at the same time, and 20 punches per arm per set
    29 lbs per hand, bench presses, 3 sets 10
    15 lbs per hand, dumbbell flyes, 3 sets 10
    That's about 29 minutes 40 seconds for survey purposes

      Today is day 832. I was just exhausted today, although part of that may have been a Microsoft Azure training course that involved mostly sitting still and listening to one person talk without a lot of variation in tone or trainee engagement. I'm a bit better now but I'm not up for serious exercise today.

                  Today is day 838. Outside it is 87 F (31 C). I'm not doing too badly in here thanks to an air conditioner in the kitchen, but I am having a hard time mustering enthusiasm for anything exercise-wise. At least I know that tomorrow will be cooler, and that I'll be going to the doctor to get my tinnitus checked out.

                    Yesterday was day 839. I did Daily Floss day 19 in the morning and then had to leave the house via mass transit for the first time since the plague lockdown began in March of last year. The audiologist couldn't find a physical cause for the tinnitus, but that's okay. That's honestly a relief. It means that the doctor didn't say 'we're seeing weird pressure readings in your ear, something inside your skull is swelling when it shouldn't be or growing in the wrong place or something similarly horrible, you're going to need surgery'. Mostly it appears to be a matter of 'get more sleep, you don't drink alcohol so don't suddenly decide to start since alcohol can only make the ringing worse, use noise maskers, and you mentioned sinus issues and this is a horrible allergy season, I suggest you try Flonase for a month'. Also some discussion o white noise and other tinnitus maskers. So I've got that to start with.

                    I also did Daily Pushups day 20 yesterday.

                      I use white noise for tinnitus masking. Among other things I need to mask: my own heart beat, my husb snoring, my dog harrumphing in his sleep, the wind against the house. Lotsa stuff to mask🙄😤. It’s definitely a relief that there’s no physical cause for it, but that always leaves you with the neuroses you’ve acquired!🥴😜

                        Phone call interruption. Short version: needed to walk someone to and from CVS for their second shot several hours early. I'm counting the walk, it was 1.4 miles out and a little further on the way back.
                        Daily Pushups day 21 in the bathroom bwfore bed.

                        I'll be using an app called ReSound: Relief for masking tonight. It was designed by an audiologist who had tinnitus herself. I'd use the MyNoise app, I love their web site, but the app crashes repeatedly on my new phone.

                              Today is day 843. The shorts I am working on are almost done. I just have to install a button, or possibly a pair of hook closures- I've seen broad hook closures on shorts before and I am not looking forward to buttonholes. But otherwise they're done.

                                Yesterday was day 844. I finished the shorts, including a button. (Turns out using the buttonhole foot and three settings on my machine is super easy.) Unfortunately the shorts are higher waisted than I would strictly like; if I wear them so that the crotch falls at a reasonable spot, the waistband is up around part of my ribcage, and if I wear the waistband at a height that looks more reasonable, I have something like an inch and a half of clearance between my undercarriage and the shorts, which looks bizarre. I expect I will mostly be wearing them around the house on laundry days. Kind of a pity as I did a good job sewing them.

                                Anyway. Daily floss day 24 yesterday, and Daily Pushups day 25 in the bathroom before bed, so I at least exercised and flossed.
