    Today is day 816. Turns out I had the charts mixed up and did day 28 of 10k punches yesterday (100 punches, 5 pushups) so, yeah, today I'm going back to do day 27.

    Classic warm up

    27 lbs per hand, standing biceps curls, 3 sets 10
    27 lbs per hand, bench presses, 3 sets 10
    10 lbs per hand, dumbbell flyes, 3 sets 12
    24 lbs, seated bicep curls, 3 sets 9 per arm; still just barely clearing all 9 with left arm

            Yesterday, May 7th, was a rest day. I did 5 pushups and 150 punches and called it good. Also day 819 as a result.

                Today is May 9th, day 821.

                I have my first dental appointment in over a year in July. I started the Daily Floss wellness challenge this morning.

                Classic warm up
                daily pushups challenge day 2, 30 pushups in sets of 5 separated by 40 punches
                captain, level 1, got interrupted on last set of punches
                Total of 18 minutes workout for today
                It won't count for the survey but it will at least do for exercise

                  Today is day 822.

                  I was interrupted multiple times during the period where I would usually exercise by my cat. I love her, but I can't do weight training with her in the room, as she isn't the kind of cat who has the sense to stay out from underfoot.

                  Epic Arms workout, 27 lbs per hand and 40 punches instead of 20 between the sets of curls
                  this is about 10 minutes of exercise total, so again, not good for the survey but at least I did something today

                    Walked 1.4 miles to second COVID vaccination, walked about 2 miles back

                      Today, May 12th, was day 824. I had a two degree fever and a sore arm from the COVID vaccine, but even with Miss Parton's fine contribution to medical science, that is a known side effect. I was expecting as much.

                      I did daily pushups day 5 and daily flossing day 4. The pushups, at least, count for something.

                          It does indeed. Yesterday the fever was gone, and while there was distinct redness in a sizable area around the injection site, the soreness was mostly gone and there was no bruising. The redness appears to be gone this morning. Now I just have to maintain proper isolation measures until the two week time period for having the vaccine kick in is up.

                          I love the way the XKCD webcomic explained mRNA vaccine function using Star Wars.

                          Anyway, yesterday was day 825. I was doing other stuff during lunch- I got a new cell phone and transferring everything is an ongoing process- so the best I can say is that I did daily floss day 5 and daily pushups day 6. I hope to resume proper exercising today.

                            May 14th was day 826. The hope was, alas, thwarted by an hour-long tech conference call out of the blue. I did, at least, get in daily pushups day 7, and daily floss day 6.
                            May 15th was Patch Saturday; I spent the morning remoted into work so I could apply the monthly security patches to as many systems as possible. I did daily pushups day 8 and daily floss day 7. So that was day 827.
                            Today is day 828. I am currently dealing with something of a throbby sinus headache, so I am going to handle things carefully today.

                            Epic Arms workout, 15 lbs per hand but 10 reps per arm each set for a total of 20 per set and 40 punches each set, so it's light weight but longer work
                            Head is still throbbing, I'm going to stop now even though it was only 12 minutes

                              Daily Pushups challenge day 10; done in sets- 5 pushups, 10 punches per arm, 5, 20 punches per arm, 5, 30 per arm, 5, 40 per arm, 5, 50 per arm, 5, 60 per arm, 5, 70 punches per arm.

                              Total sweating/hard breathing workout time was 30 minutes 14 seconds, so that's for the survey.
                              Have not yet worked out how to make the pullovers work with a resistance band and my bench but I should have it figured out by next chest and biceps day.

                                This is a total of 21:43 hard breathing/sweating workout time, so that's for the survey (nb: warmups not included in the timing for this kind of thing)
