Today is day 713. Still not feeling great; don't know if that's Shark Week, persistent sinus congestion pushing up into my ears, low sleep, having to change my pillow because the old one was causing neck pain, psychological stuff all dumping into my system as a result of the last four years, or something else. At least I was able to take a pulse oximeter reading and had 95-99% oxygen with about a 74 bpm pulse rate.

But I am reminding myself to breathe- literally, I realized that I've been taking very shallow and slow breaths if not paying attention- and I am going to start a new challenge today, so.

    classic warm up
    Interrupted by cat
Picked up a 3 lb weight plate in each hand once the cat left and did 3 sets of 10 chest expanders each while holding them at arm's length
day 1, back and soulders challenge: 3 sets 12 reverse angels

Geez, I hope you feel better. Better days are ahead, for us in this country, I’m sure of it. Hang tough and chin up

Thanks, I appreciate the sentiment. I get sinus infections pretty regularly and they've been a bit less frequent this year; I'm hoping that and the pillow are the majority of it, because I can change pillows and mitigate infections. Here's hoping foe the rest.

That said, today is day 714.

          Today is day 715.

          classic warm up
big back workout, modified: standard renegade rows instead of pushup renegade rows, Arnold presses instead of standard shoulder presses. 15 lbs per hand on each of those. 24 lbs on the triceps extensions. 24 lbs per hand on the deadlifts and shrugs, 10 lbs per hand on the lat raises.

            January 25th was day 716.

144 punches, forgot to do the challenge, which is stupid of me because I deliberately signed up for that one on the grounds that it would be reasonably easy to remember to do and accomplish

            January 26th was day 717.

150 punches. In my defense, did not do the challenge because I got interrupted by RL, had to go to the bank, and spent a significant portion of time after work making pie crust from scratch.

Will endeavor to get things done properly today after my monthly staff meeting (huzzah for Zoom)

Today is day 721. Still dealing with sinus congestion and ringing in my ears. Going to get a steam inhaler later today, one of the kind you shove your face into rather than a room humidifier.

                    Impossible abs challenge day 1
Started the Gentleman workout, got an immediate knee protest; I have no baseline knee pain but have had complaints from that joint when I've done squats or lunges w/o sufficient warning and preparation lately, so I think I need to work on that
                    Knee Saver workout

Today is day 722. Still congestes and dealing w tinnitus but use of a Vicks Sinus Inhaler twice yesterday has made things SO much less painful.

back and shoulders challenge day 8
impossible abs challenge day 2... sort of. Since I did three 30-second elbow planks yesterday, rather than start from 20, today I did three 35 second elbow planks separated by 10 seconds each.
power punch workout level 1, but with one minute of rest between sets, so EC

Thank you! It's still present, but not as bad as it was. The steam inhaler helps.

Today is day 726. Still congested in the head, still got a bit of ear ringing, but the noise isn't as bad and the congestion isn't as bad either. I haven't used the steam inhaler today, although I will later. I took an antihistamine/decongestant combo last night before bed and between that and a new, reasonably soft pillow, slept better than I have in a while. Feeling better today. Took a decongestant and a 12-hour antihistamine just in case.
