    Today is day 699. Exhaustion test day.

    Classic warm up with shoulder rolls and side leg lifts
    80 consecutive nonstop pushups. Not as many as I was hoping, but as many as I felt I could do without losing it entirely.
    128 punches
    23 overhead punches, was interrupted by cat at this point

      Today is day 700. Thought I'd try out a weight training site's first day of a fat burning workout, using my 15 and 10 lb dumbbells.

      Classic warm up, also side leg lifts and shoulder rolls
      15 lbs, one arm rows using the bench for support of other arm: 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 per arm
      15 lbs, one arm upright rows: 30, 20, 10 per arm
      10 lbs, seated dumbbell curls: 15, 10, 5 per arm, because I was starting to realize I had overestimated my ability to do high reps fast
      10 lbs, standing hammer curls: 30, 20, 10 per arm
      15 lbs, one arm dumbbell shrugs: 30, 30, 30 per arm

            Today is day 701. My biceps are currently cranky, though not excessively painful, from yesterday's workout. The next day of the fatburner workout involves multiple sets of 30 Bulgarian split squats to start with. I do not think I will be proceeding further with that after all.
            Pushups tomorrow.

              Today, January 11th, was day 702. Had to work through lunch ona tech support case; also my arms are still sore. Pushups tomorrow if I can.

                Today is day 703. I woke up this morning with the middle of my back weirdly locked up and stiff. I've been stretching and I took two ibuprofen, and it doesn't hurt as much now, so I am going to see how many pushups I can actually manage rather than committing myself to the full Hundred Pushups workout for today.

                  Yesterday was day 704. My back was still painful and my left arm did not want to straighten out without bicep pain, so I kept it to a basic 128 punches for the sake of at least doing something.

                    Today, January 14, was day 705. Feeling better in the back and arm, but I sent an email to check up on a friend I hadn't spoken to since last March, and it turned into a phone call that took over most of my workout time. Said friend lives in Ontario and works in the pathology department of one of the hospitals...

                    I did manage 144 punches, at least.

                      Today is day 706. I am tired. I do not want to do this.

                      Killer Butt workout, but with modifications: held a 24-lb dumbbell in one hand for the one legged deadlifts, did 32 side leg raises per leg for a total of 64 per set instead of 20, and 60 sec rest between exercises
                      Epic Arms workout, 15 lbs per hand
                      Sore Muscles Stretch workout, as an overall cooldown

                        Yesterday, January 16th, was Patch Saturday for my office; I spent the morning remotely upgrading multiple systems and then troubleshooting VPN issues well after 1 PM.

                        144 punches done before bedtime.

                          Yesterday was day 707. That makes today day 708 of the streak. Going to attempt an exhaustion test since I spent a week not doing pushups.

                          ... who am I kidding, I got to 30 and physically could have done more, I just didn't want to. Maybe I will resume these tomorrow. I don't know.

                            Today is day 709. I am currently having difficulty mustering the enthusiasm necessary to continue going with the 100 pushups thing. I mean, 100 consecutive pushups is pretty good bragging rights, and I like the idea of being strong enough/fit enough to do that, but... I do not enjoy spending the amount of time necessary to go from 'I have not done any pushups' to 'I have done fifty pushups' just working through the same motions and trying to trick myself into pushing the floor away rather than lifting my entire upper body (thinking of it as pushing the floor away alters which muscles I use and tends to hurt less, I've found).

                            Did first two exercises of the Big Back workout using 15 lb weights for the renegade rows and Arnold presses (rather than standard shoulder presses, they make the joints click less), got interrupted

                              Today is day 710. Didn't get to do much today except Epic Arms, sort of; instead of ten alternating bicep curls at a time separated by 20 punches, I did ten bicep curls with 15 lb weights in each hand, followed by 40 punches. Extra credit, I think?

                                January 20th was day 711. Didn't feel the greatest, physically, and was watching the inauguration during my usual workout time anyway; I managed 128 punches.
                                January 21st was day 712. Still wasn't feeling well. Managed 144 punches.
                                Hopefully today will be better.
