    Today is day 651.

    Classic warm up
    hundred pushups week 4 day 3 level 2: 23, 28, 23, 23, 36... I think. I may have lost count on the last one sometime in the high teens, I'm not entirely sure- I THOUGHT I was at the right number but had been thinking over Arnold Schwarzenegger's motivational post to the guy who asked to be told to go to the gym, and I didn't feel as exhausted as expected, so... since the last set of this day at this level is supposed to be 33 or more, I did what I thought was 36. I think that makes up for whatever gap I may have had. Regardless, this is week 4, and I am supposed to do an exhaustion test before moving on to week 5. So tomorrow or Sunday I will do as many consecutive pushups as I can, and adjust my next week of training based on that.
    5, 150, 5, 150, 5, 160, 5, 140: the pushups and the punches necessary for day 27 of Ten Thousand Punches.

      Today is day 652. EDIT: I was posting this from my phone and had an unexpected phone call that resulted in me posting this early by mistake.

      Classic warm up.
      hundred pushups post-week-4 exhaustion test: 52 consecutive pushups before I felt my performance was degrading enough that I had to stop. Technically this means I could do week 6, but I'd rather spend another week laying foundation than jump that much closer to the attempt at 100.
      A separate set of 5 pushups followed by 100 punches: Ten Thousand Punches challenge, day 28.
      10 pounds per hand: standing lat raises, 3 sets 8, because I have always sucked at lat raises

          Worked through lunch yesterday. On track to work through lunch today (VPN configuration).

          Yesterday was still day 654, though; I managed 5 pushups and 128 punches.

          Hopefully I can do either day 30 of 10k punches or my Hundred Pushups Week 5 Day 1 later today. We'll see.

            Hasn't been a great week. Yesterday was day 655. All I got done was 5, 100, 5, 100, 5, 100- fifteen pushups and 300 punches.

            We'll see how the rest of today goes.

                  Yesterday, Dec. 9th, was day 656. I did 5, 200, 5, 300, 5, 100, 5, 100- 700 punches for day 30 of Ten Thousand Punches. This challenge is complete.

                    Today. Dec. 10, was day 657. Crampy, tired, and dealt with mandatory annual regulatory training.

                    Got in 128 punches total,though, so there's that.

                          Today is day 658.

                          I have not done significant pushup work in close to a week at this point. Nevertheless I intend to attempt week 5, day 1, column 2 and we shall see how it goes from there.

                          classic warm up
                          28, 35, 25, 22, 42 pushups. I think this may mean that I am supposed to attempt column 3 on my next pushup workout, but I only got through pushups 21-40 of the last set by sheer willpower, so we'll see how things go when I get to day 2.

                          I'm going to go get water now.
