          Yesterday was day 315. I had to work from home and things got overly busy so it was just

            Belated happy new year to all who posted here!

            Today is day 316. I had hoped to catch up Zero Hero with the calendar by doing days 2 and 3, but based on my coughing after my daily fifty kicks and my much worse coughing after any of the activities of day two, yeah, no, that's not going to happen.

            Spaced across the day to avoid coughing myself senseless:

            150 punches/day, 81/100
            100 overhead punches
            50 side leg lifts
            50 front kicks/day, 94/100
            Zero Hero, day 2, level 3; the ab stuff was surprisingly harder than I expected, but also there were the exercise-induced coughing bouts. stupid post nasal drip.

            That being said, I would like to note that Century Martial Arts' Kicking Jeans perform exactly as advertised and look remarkably good/normal. My office has a casual dress code, which translates to a good quality top and civilized, clean, intact jeans for me in the IT department. I wore my new pair of Kicking Jeans today and wow they work well during exercise- although they're still warmer than shorts so I don't intend to use them as standard workout wear. They're just remarkably convenient that way.

                    Today is day 318. The NP said my lungs are clear and that she thinks this is a virus, one which may last yp to a month, so I am relieved. (I was a 9/11 responder. I worry about respiratory illness.)

                    However, my downstairs neighbor is home, so I am switching days 4 and 5 of Zero Hero to avoid disturbing her. Assume I crawled through the wrong tunnel and then had to run, I guess.

                      Zero Hero day 4, level 1- attempted. During the rest period between sets 2 and 3 I had so many repeated coughing fits despite being on a dose of Vicks with cough suppressant and decongestant (stupid stupid post nasal drip) that I had to stop. I will attempt again tomorrow.

                        Today is day 320. I have not taken the cough suppressant today, mostly because I wanted to see how bad things were without it. Answer: not good. Still, will press on.
