    50 mile round trip helicopter flight; admittedly this is not MUCH exercise, but the Robinson R22 is a training copter with no assists at all unless you pull the trim knob, which I did not, so this was basically 1.2 hours of constant hold-adjust-hold-adjust with my arms and a bit less with my legs

          Today is day 160. Outside the temperature is 33° C. Humidity is 49%. Glad to be working out in server room ac.

          100 reps/day, 100 days; day 25, punches
          100 overhead punches
          Power 25 workout. 24.5 lbs. per arm for bicep curls, tricep extensions, upright rows, and the 3 sets of 12 deadlifts I added. 10 lbs. per arm for the front arm raises and side arm raises. 17.5 lbs. per arm for the shoulder presses.

              Today is day 161. I forgot that lunch was taken up by a mandatory quarterly meeting today, so exercise had to be at the end of the day. I want to get home before the storms outside get any worse, so all I did was 100 reps/day, 100 days:day 26, punches, and also 100 overhead punches.

                Today is day 162. Since I could not do lower body strength stuff yesterday- I am getting back on the Gladiator training plan- I am moving lower body to today, and doing a non-weighted workout this time.

                In the meantime:

                power grip challenge day 1, 40 sec
                100 reps/day, 100 days: day 27, punches
                100 overhead punches
                daily dare: 2 minutes half jacks. Did this in 2 sets.
                legday workout, level 1 but with EC. Also I held a 17.5 pound weight in each hand for the calf raises.

                  2 miles on a bike at lunch.

                  Power grip challenge day 2, 40 seconds flex hold
                  power row workout. 17.5 lbs per arm for renegade rows. 24.5 per arm for the others and on the single barbell for the goblet squats. Upright rows produced something close to muscle failure in forearms near end of set 2. Continued anyway but with longer recovery time. At least the deadlifts were comparatively easy.

                      daily dare, 50 front kicks, but no ec due to lousy one leg balance
                      the gainer. Had 15 lb weights only. Did 20 sec recovery btwn exercises, to make it at least a little harder.

                        Also yesterday I got my inflatable kayak out for the first time in over a year, spent about ten minutes pumping it up by hand and five minutes hauling it to the water, then paddled around in the harbor for... I didn't really time it. I think I did between 30 and 45 minutes in the boat before getting out, manually pumping the air out of it, then hauling it all back.

                            today being lower body day, I gave Pistol Squat Prep workout a stab. Not sure I did the half squat balamce holds right, but hey, first time out... the split squats were a bit easier than I expected, but I also leaned forward a little more than I should've. I did five on each leg for each set of ten. I am going to have to do those more often, I rather like them. (I do not have a bench so I used an old decommissioned server we haven't disposed of. It comes up to about a centimeter below my kneecap.)

                            ... I have to go, there's a tech support request.

                                power grip challenge day 9, 1 min 20 sec clench unclench
                                Power row. 24.5 lbs per barbell. Added 8, 8, 6, 4 bulgarian split squats, no added weight, after the goblet squat set. Did a little better at form there. 24.5 for deadlifts harder that I remember. Either I worked more of my lower back than I remember in the earlier exercises, or I was more careful about form and therefore put more effort into it, or this is what you get doing deadlifts while menstruating.

                                Sweating like a racehorse regardless. I feel as if I ought to be exercising somewhat longer, though. Will probably go back to adding in sitting punches and situp punches soon.
