        Day 11: Almost to 12k steps and it's still afternoon. Today I upped my daily step goal to 10,500, planning to bring it up by 500 each week until I'm at least 12k daily. Still want a 15k or more day of steps. Daily Dare (with extra credit). Day 10 of The Foundation. Met all three challenges. I'm going to the gym to support a friend in their own fitness quest tonight, was planning to do the mountain setting on the treadmill while they do their thing. Update: Got to 20k steps for the first time since getting my Fitbit for xmas! Yeah!

          A little behind in logging because of the site issues.

          Day 12: Daily Dare (with extra credit), Day 11 of the Foundation, 12k steps, met all three challenges

          Day 13: Day 12 of the Foundation, 11k steps, met all three challenges

          Day 14: Daily Dare (with extra credit), day 13 of the Foundation, did the daily workout because I wanted to keep moving, almost to my steps goal for the day, two of three challenges met so far but confident I'll meet the third by bedtime.

                  Day 16: Another rest day on doctor's orders.

                  Day 17: Day 14 of The Foundation. 11k steps. Met all three challenges.

                  Thanks for checking in _unmother. I just get a little sick sometimes from my psoriatic arthritis and have to let my body rest to recover. My doctor thinks that eventually the exercise will help calm my immune system down a little but he said the first few months I might have these spikes of illness as my body adjusts to changes in diet and exercise.

                  I made the avocado tuna salad for myself today. Yum! Added cilantro and a few shavings of sweet onion with some lime juice and pepper for flavor. Definitely making that again.

                    Glad you're over that first hurdle then! I have endometriosis so it's a similar scenario - in the long run exercise is good for suppressing symptoms but while you're getting used to it working out can be really painful and exhausting. Congrats on jumping right back in!

                      Trying to think of a reward for myself to stay motivated and I'm thinking that I'd really like to try something new like indoor skydiving or stand-up paddleboarding.

                                I decided that my fitness goal this year is to start race walking again. I'm going to start with 5k walks but want to train for a walking half-marathon.
