    Cardio Trim - D1/30 Done!
    Really enjoyed this today, could feel the endorphins racing through me almost immediately, felt so great!
    Also, man am I going to feel my muscles tomorrow morning XD



    S T R E T C H

    Yoga - 20m Down Dog App Intermediate 1
    Struggled with some of the stretches today, ones that I've been able to do before. Was pretty tired after Cardio Trim D1, so just went until was comfortable but still stretching.

    A third of the way there, I can do this!!


    O V E R A L L

    Mr BirdCat is back to work for the most part, digging holes by hand and the like all day, so he's got his workouts covered....I can't let myself get slack! So I changed programs.
    Yes, I know I change programs like nothing else, but really felt I needed something closely manageable for now -- thirty days, rather than ninety, so the end is actually in sight I promise to myself, I will stick with this one!

      Cardio Trim - D2/30 Done!
      It occurred to me today that at the moment I have very little upper body strength...my to fail pushups were like...two or three...but I will get better!


      S T R E T C H

      Yoga - 20m Down Dog App Intermediate 1
      Stretch of note today was the standing splits. Told the lady in the video that it was impossible even as she demonstrated, and Mr BirdCat had to add in that I needed just a tiiiiny bit higher Looking forward to the day when I can even get my second leg out horizontal let alone vertical!

      Decided to get my workouts done earlier on in the day instead of later, and it feels great! Also a great feeling of accomplishment knowing that there's still the rest of the day to go and I already have a bunch of things crossed off my list

        Legs really struggled through the first part, and that tiredness lingered through the second part, but managed to push through that blocker and put more energy into it! Definitely warmed up now, haha.

        Went to the local market with Mr BirdCat and had a walk around this morning, which left us both quite happy but suprisingly tired for the rest of the day...I was just about to head off to read in bed when I realized I hadn't done my exercise for the day! Quickly fixed that and feeling much better for it

          Nearly forgot to do the side leg lifts through the day and had to finish them off right before bed. Legs were still tired from the previous day, but managed to get through!

          Went back to the lady's house who I was meant to work as a carer for to help her move her furniture etc back into place, so on my feet busy lifting and carrying for an hour. Won't be able to help her out any more (and now officially no work, free chicken me!) as she smoked in the house and Doctors orders definitely no smoke whether it be second hand or even just hanging out in the rooms when trying for a baby (I don't like it even in the best of times, so no complaints here). A little extra pocket money is nothing if it comes with risking my health and any future babies health.

          Spent the most part of the day driving in the car, and stressful situations happening around, so really didn't want to do any exercise by the time I got home, but more than that I didn't want to lose my streak Day 9 of the challenge done, woot! Feeling the habit starting be a bit easier now.

            Cardio Trim - D5/30 Done!
            I was really intimidated by the program for today, have been telling Mr BirdCat over the past few days how much it's going to hurt and all that...I'm thinking it's mostly the push-ups that looked super scary, haha. Nearly put it off again too, as my left elbow is sore for some reason, but figured that it's just going to keep hanging over my head until I get it done so might as well get it over with. The plan was to just go until I couldn't or it starting hurting or anything...and I was able to go the whole time, no pain at all! My push-ups wouldn't have been the best, but hey, still managed to get ten in each round!

              Yoga - 15m Down Dog App Beginner 2
              Took the intensity level down a notch for today, elbow still managed to get through it which is good. The "90 degree elbow plank" (can't remember the actual name) seems to be getting a bit easier. Excited feeling my strength build!

              42C day O_O all I could do to try and stay cool! Unfortunately the weather hasn't changed much in the evening, sitting around 38C now at 10pm. Despite that and annoyingly sore elbow, there was no way I was going to break my streak when I'm so close to beating the challenge! Took it easy with my first real try of "Bikram" yoga, and didn't mind it too much. Now to hopefully get some sleep before the challenge of an ever so slightly cooler day tomorrow!

                Another scorcher day, spent most of it trying to stay cool and fiddling around with my sewing machine. Wasn't hard to get the motivation to start my workout in the evening once it had cooled down, though, I've got a challenge to finish!

                  Meant to get the next day if the program done, but the day got away with me so decided to calm down with some yoga before bed. The first time I've been able to slowly go from a high plank down to the floor with control and not just dropping half way, woot!

                  A seemingly not so busy day somehow made busy with time flitting off this way and that. So excited on day 13 now, and I'm really in a habit of exercising. It's no longer a matter of if, but when (and I need to get that better too, but step by step slowly but surely!).

                    Walked for 30m down to the shop with Mr BirdCat, carrying back all manner of groceries, whilst being tugged along by BirdHound. Definitely got our workouts!

                    Kept quite busy and active today rushing around cleaning the house and the like. Spent the afternoon with Mr BirdCat's sister playing Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective (all very happy we were able to solve the case) and feel really great this evening now that everything is done and clean and only one day to go to finish the challenge!

                      Feeling bloated
                      +.4k since last week. Not surprising from my junk food eating over the weekend That being said, it could (hopefully, haha) just be muscle weight, as I'm definitely feeling stronger? Started taking progress photos today, so that I can properly see my progress over time.

So happy to have that little 15 days honeycomb on my avatar now, really felt like I earned it after struggling so much at the beginning, haha. Thanks Darebee!!!! That being said, no time to take it easy! Adding in more challenges, and keeping up the exercising every day, onto 30 days!

                      30 Days of Fitness - D15/30 Done ^_^ I've done 15, definitely can do that again!

                      1 Minute Yoga - D1/30 Done!

                      Five Minute Plank - D1/30 Done! Really struggled with even 20 seconds of it, really interested to see how I'll go building up to five minutes

                      So so happy to have the first milestone completed, woot! Working out is so much easier now as I'm not having the same trouble simply getting started. The workout itself may still be hard, and that's all good, but the fact that I'm able to start it without my mind thinking up 100 different reasons not to is so great.

                              Lyra_H_W Haha, I'm usually absolutely useless as well, but found the Shark Week workout to be really gentle and just enough to feel like I've done something but not too much to overdo it

                                Was on my feet all day, here, there, and everywhere with trying to fit too much cooking, cleaning, and grocery shopping into too little time before Mr BirdCat and I hopped in the car for a trip a few cities over. Not a normal workout, but Mr BirdCat agreed I was very busy, so I'm taking that as a day of fitness done Also added in the quick challenge days, which, to my tired body definitely let me know a full on workout would not be a good idea. Going to be walking for a few hours tomorrow just to see where my feet take me!
