Foundation Day 3. 6 sets, 60 sec rest

This one was fairly easy. Or would have been, if I wouldn´t be super dizzy due to dehydration. Everything is spinning like crazy. Wheeee!

Thanks Sundance and Brontus . You guys being here helps sticking with it.

Ahh, knees hurt. Had to put a towel under my knees because my floor is so frigging hard.

                Update time

The new company is cursed. Cursed, I tell you! Half the workforce got injured on thursday and friday. One tripped into some rebar and got impaled through the frigging torso. He´s somehow okay and no organs were damaged. My fellow apprentice cut himself in the arm with an electric hedge trimmer. Another one is undergoing treatment for borelliosis and I walked backwards into a fence and cut my left calf. It doesn´t hurt that much anymore, so I´ll try to do the next day of Foundation later today.

Good grief. I flinch and grimace at imagining all that happening. Hope your calf gets better soon.

Foundation day 5: 5 sets, 60 seconds rest

I DID IT!! Even though it hurt. A lot. Luckily there were no excersises were I needed to stretch my legs. I´m still alive, my wounds didn´t rip open and I´m back on track. I always like cardio. Don´t know why, but it makes me feel good. One more day closer to getting that new Foundation badge

                        Your workplace sure sounds jinxed.

Great job with Foundation and speedy recovery for your calf.

Truth time. Foundation was a bust. My calf injury prevented me from actually giving my all and I became frustrated and quit. Again... Sadly that is kinda my default move. My calf injury got infected, so I´m living in constant pain right now because I can´t work on paid meds and I have to work. I´m allowed to have like 50 sick days in 3 years and I already had to take 40. If I take more than 50 my apprenticeship gets prolonged a whole year. Another problem. But the antibiotics should take care of that damned infection, which I only got because I had to work. And stand around in a rancid, fermenting pond for half a day...

After wallowing in self pity for a week, I decided to man up and do something. So I´ll take the next few days to build my own fitness plan with workouts I´ll be able to do. Centered around cardio (to melt some of that fat), strength primarily upper body, since those are the muscle groups I use at work. And nearly every landscaper has problems with his back. So, let´s be proactive. I´ll probably throw in some stuff for the abs and core too, just to cover everything. I have some ideas, but I´ll probably have the whole thing ready by friday. Maybe even earlier.

Hey, sometimes pushing forward is good, other times pulling back is just as well. What would happen if your apprenticeship got prolonged? Good job pulling yourself up when you were down. Show us your new plan when you got it.

I'm sorry to hear about your calf injury. Good job fighting your way back. As Brontus said - show us the plan when it is ready.
