    Virago workout

Done with extra credit! Didn't lose my balance during the boat folds.

    Meditation Challenge Day 19
Backup and Restore and 10 minutes Meditation

Hanuman workout. 1, 6, 5. So level 1, 3 rounds EABCD order 5 lb club.
For the curious, Hanuman uses dice to set a level (duration), number of sets and sequence of exercises. This results in a varied workout, ranging from pretty easy, to "Wow! That was hard!" What are the exercises? What order? How many? How long? Well, that would be telling. And it's Thierry and Ron's livelihood.
Maybe this will pique your curiosity https://youtu.be/VHe7bj9bB9g
And their training videos are half off...
    --
    L-Sit Prep
    4x20 tricep dips
    4x20 leg raises
    2x60 seconds tuck and hold
    2x60 seconds boat pose
2x30 seconds sit tuck and hold.

Lagniappe: 5 minute march in place and juggle; 5 minutes of club flows - hip opener and under the leg pass (5 lb club)

WFH. After a staycation. This is gonna be interesting.
Later: Still wading through emails. Sigh.
Later: Ok, badge me! Girl Power week is done. Dragon Week coming up. Which would leave, Boxer, Hell and Superhero weeks. Maybe I'm tough enough, but I'll hit them later.
Quiet day overall. Did manage to toddle outside and do the Hanuman and L-Sit Prep routines on breaks. So, there's that.
I also scored some cured bamboo and a protein jug/container. Why? Because I aim to make one or two of these

Now, I just have to score some Quikrete...

              That was tough.
              --
              Pistol Squat Prep (modified)
3x10 Barbarian Squats (1.5 kg mace)
60 second balance on each leg
60 second half squat hold each leg (not as deep as a recall managing)

              --
              WFH
Houston/Harris County are now under a "Stay Home & Work Safe" order.
Which means I'm sorely tempted to go buy a sack of Quikrete tonight and make a mace ASAP, because I've busted 2 Pahlavandles messing about with this. I've come to the conclusion that Paul was _lucky_ when he was using them as a mace in his video.
So, Ron, Thierry, if you're reading this - I'll be buying more at the start of April. I just hope you're not using Dropped it, Hid it and Lost it for fulfillment.
Work is decently productive, but what I can do during breaks is odd. Instead of walking the halls and juggling, or finding an empty conference room, I'm grabbing some clubs and heading outside. And I'm grabbing some exercise at lunch. And a shower. Mustn't forget the shower.
Later: And I learned G has 7 overdue assignments. And I'm officially spent. I'll figure something out tomorrow.

                WFH
                And the drama continues... not.
Did set and use a pomodoro timer. As annoying as it might be I'll admit it stopped me going down a bad path (luck - but there might be something to this stop and consider what you're doing stuff).
G is WFH today as well. With 7 overdue assignments. I'll be the first to admit that in school, I'd let assignments get close and then rush to finish, or cram to study. but not turn them in?
Anyway, the kiddo's lockdown will be a sight more boring for the next bit until those overdue assignments are finished. And I think I'm going to have have a talk with the guides about this being a team effort even before the distance learning.
Also, began making a mace yesterday. Time to see about scoring a small amount of concrete to use with the bamboo and protein jug I've got. If it's successful, I've got a larger jug (should finish at 15 lbs) to try the same stunt with.
Later: G has decided to use SAO Survivor and Ronin workouts from Darebee.com as her PE. Proud poppa is much mollified.

Continuing to take advantage of the really short commute.
I was productive, just not in ways I expected today.
And I got to be a PE coach/swordmaster for my daughter. That's right remote learning involves PE. Her school gave the kids a choice and mine (being mine) chose these:
                    https://darebee.com/workouts/sao-survivor-workout.html
                    https://darebee.com/workouts/ronin-workout.html
She gets points for wanting to try and sticking with it even though just starting. She leaves her guard open too often on the recovery and she's still learning to put her whole body into the cuts. Which amused my co-workers to no end.

Otherwise, not a lot took advantage of a sale McMillan is having and bought ebooks of Gamechanger, Stealing World's, The Iron Dragon's Mother and the Empress of Forever at $2.99 each. If you like recent SF, you could do a lot worse than these 4.

Helluva day. Got up and ran (I was the only one of the running group to show up). Then off to day 5 of Dragon Week. Side Kicks Practice was tough. After reach set of 60, 10 push-ups. The kicks were the worst. I remember doing stuff like this when I was younger, but it was easier then.
And after that Hanuman. Another case of my hands being so sweaty it was hard to hold on to the club.
Then chores. Exhausting, sweaty, dirty chores.
A nice present arrived today - a set of adjustable Yes4All Advanced clubs (4 kg, 6 kg, 8kg). Right now I'll only be able to use the 4kg ones, but I'll improve. I'll give it a try to tomorrow. Suspect my arms are gonna be sore.
Caught up with my friend Meemie today as well. She and her family are weathering the situation in Ocean Springs. Not a bad place to wait it out. Lot of comparing notes on remote learning for our kids and the impact of being away from their friends.
And I hope to read The Cloud Roads. The Dragons of Nature is proving a challenging read. When the characters are immortal, the author can be very tough with them.

Huh. I was able to use the 4 kg (8.8 lb) club more than I thought I would. Now if I can get that mace put together...
Fairly quiet day. Attended Mass in workout clothes again. Our church (St. Mary's Chapel at Rice) held a Livestreamed Mass so it was good to see Fr. Ray again. Walked "to" and "from" church - mainly getting up and walking to at least distinguish it from whatever we were doing before hand.
Had driveway dining tonight. Basically 4 families in the neighborhood met in a driveway at 6'+ distances and ate their own food. We broke bread together without sharing food.
I think it was a good thing and we'll repeat it in a week.

                                Monday.
Wrangled with USPS customer service over a long overdue set of Pahlavandle grip weights (18 days since an update, 3 business days since I opened a customer service ticket). The person I spoke with says expect a call today, so I remain hopeful. But if no product by the 8th, I'll have to chat with Ron and Thierry.
Later: no phone call by USPS customer service. Time to follow-up.
                                And I'm tired.
Oh yeah! Badge me! Dragon Week is done. Tomorrow, Carbon and Dust begins again.
Filed under more adventures in spoiled chickens.
Also, bought crickets for a classroom pet (Rosey the Tarantula - fortunately she's not staying with us). Since she only eats 2 a week, the chickens got the rest of the minimum order. And Twilight got _excited_ when she saw those. Literally flew at the bag. Even convinced Honey the skittish to eat a few from my fingers.
