    HellYeah I like your breakdown of what you got out of your program/why it failed. Maybe do lunges and pullups next, for a less hated version?

    And belated happy welcome to 40 and up club. I have to say, I sort of love that darebee isn't mostly a bunch of kids.

              'rin lunges are not ideal for my knees, but as a variation, it already saved me from getting too bored...

              pullups and hanging abs should be together, so my forarms have enough rest. I have to play around with combinations a bit, once I have decided, what exercises and style (weights/rings) will be next. I will find a way... one way or the other ...

                  I hadn't fully appreciated how much strength is needed for bouldering when you don't have the support of a harness like in rock climbing. It's cool to see how you move up/across the wall.

                      Zastria Yes it does need strength.. but the basics are technique...

                      if you get support by the harness, your belayer is doing it wrong... the rope should always have (at least a tiny bit of) slack, in the definition of free climbing.

                          Restructuring the workshop, including removing
                          trash, like bricks'n'stuff. Carrying some big
                          sandstones to frontyard, to have a provisional
                          red brick road until I can finish it properly...

                          First week at work and a lot to do. I
                          managed to commute by bike and went to
                          the bouldergym. Did not do much more and
                          took some full rest days. With more cardio the
                          cravings for sweets came back. I guess I'll have
                          to eat more with my regular meals, until I am used
                          to regular biking. But overall it was balanced,
                          cause I did not gain weight, but I did not lost either
                          … so what… I have time...
