    Only did a half set of the plank walkouts in my main workout this evening, my hamstrings are still really tight from leg day the other day, plus I started feeling a bit nauseous. All is well now though. Three days in a row for a main workout, feeling good about that - but sadly the streak must end since I'm traveling back home tomorrow & there won't be time.

          Strength Protocol Day 10

          Vacation days tomorrow and Tuesday, so if I do anything it'll be my challenges or counting some walking distance. I'm going to let myself take it easy though!

            1.5 miles walking today with my wife

            Really tired week this week. Got a few miles walking in on my vacation days, but I had no time (working extra hours) or energy (exhausted from extra work, traveling back & forth, plus anxious about upcoming workload) to do much else. Plus I topped 200 lbs for the first time in my life.

            I really want to finish the programs & challenges I started, plus lose some of that weight. I have a big conference this week, so meal prepping is out. Gonna have to rely on portion control & smart choices, which will be difficult since I have lots of junk food left over from the trip. Next week though, I'll do better. Hopefully. Maybe.

                  I forget if I heard about this here in the Hive or on Facebook, but I found this cool app called Walk to Mordor. It lets you track the distance you've walked/run and shows you how far until you've walked the distance of the whole LOTR adventure. Pretty cool gamification!

                    4.1 miles walking (total throughout the day)

                    So I tracked my steps through my grocery shopping this morning just for kicks, and I determined that I walked about 1.1 miles on a typical trip. Then I took a 3 mile walk this afternoon.

                      Early morning downtown tomorrow, so probably no walk for me. But I am gonna do something before I leave the house, possibly another one when I get home later on.

                      In other news, I'll likely be working from home through March of next year. A bit of a bummer, but honestly I'm used to the pace by now, and that does let me plan on some workout routines over the next few months knowing I'll have a bit more time either a commute.

                      In other other news, I made a big crockpot full of hearty beef stew for my lunch prep this week. Colder weather for the first couple days, plus I'm just in the mood. Yum!

                                3.1 miles walking this morning

                                My air conditioning has been out for the past week. I live in Florida. That coupled with work stress & emotional stress means no extra workouts for me other than a walk in the morning breeze. Should be repaired on Wednesday, which will be a day of blessed A/C and hopefully jumping back into things. Or I may be forced to wait until after our major work event due to the volume of stuff to do for it. We'll see.

                                Further up and further in. No energy, so no exclamation point. Sorry Bees...
