    In other news, I was offered a new job with a group that offers educational leadership training yesterday! A significant pay bump from where I'm at currently, an office downtown right by our baseball field, and a better situation all around!

    Just Baseline Day 22 Level 1 this morning.

    Rough night's sleep, went in early to work to make up hours, then we have an annual meeting tonight which means a later night. Ready for things to slow down, but with another early morning meeting tomorrow plus my sci-fi convention this weekend, I don't see rest happening anytime soon. Hoping I can keep my eyelids open during my next workouts haha.

    TODAY'S NOTES

    Spent all day Saturday building a new dock surface, tons of lifting heavy lumber & assembly so I took the weights lighter this time around. All the exercises felt really good, next time through I'll go heavier for sure.

    TODAY'S FOOD

    This week's breakfast is a protein fruit smoothie, and lunch is more chicken & veggies. I do have some desserts I'm gonna try to devour bur in a sensible manner (shooting for only one a day, although today was a failure there lol) and we're gonna try to eat in a lot more this week. Feeling pretty good though, I'm a few pounds heavier than I'd like to be but I'll keep at it!

    Just did Baseline Day 19 Level 1 today. Had to get ready for an interview/assessment today for one of the jobs I've applied for, and I didn't want to work up too bad a sweat.

    I'll get plenty of practical work in tomorrow, then hit Zero Hero plus a dumbbell workout on Sunday. Further up and further in!

    Easy warmup this morning again, I'm debating where to go next but I really like getting back to the routine of doing something physical even before breakfast. I've got an evening event plus some writing deadlines to meet, so no extra workout tonight. Plus I am still looking ahead to my weekend project, so I may do something lighter again on Friday, we'll see.

    TODAY'S NOTES

    Lots of time in a car or running around all weekend, no workouts. Didn't gain much weight thankfully, but still ate like trash the whole time. I'm also eating out this week cause there's no time to meal prep, trying to be good & avoid bad snacking where I can.

    Glad I could jump back into a good workout though. Most exercises felt good, I definitely took it light since I'm leading a construction project this weekend and I don't want to pull anything. That being said, the skull crushes were probably too heavy, I'll decrease that next time around, but everything else I may increase as well.

    TODAY'S NOTES

    Still love the short morning workouts! I was gonna repeat the first Dumbbell phase again, but I'll be out of town this weekend so I figured I'd just start it up again afterwards. Did the Ninja workout, it's been a while for this one. My legs are pretty tired, and I worked up more of a sweat than with the dumbbells the past couple of weeks - just goes to show that bodyweight can still get you strong!

    TODAY'S FOOD

    Egg cups and oranges for breakfast with milk, then salsa chicken and broccoli for lunch. I had some deli meat and carrots before my workout, then I'm making marinated chicken and sweet potatoes for dinner. Will try to avoid desserts, but no promises haha.
