    Attendance Log

Ive decided to start a log to keep my accountable to myself. Some days just showing up is the hard part.
A bit about me. I am 33, and I have 2 daughters that I homeschool. I was always in pretty good shape through collage, but in my early 20's I ruptured a disc in my back requiring surgery. I was left unable to walk for some time, and permanent nerve damage in my left leg. I gained about 50 pounds then, and lost a lot of mobility. After my first daughter was born, I was able to lose some weight, but I wasnt able to exercise like I needed to keep it off since the dr's had been warning me for years, no bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, or high impact exercise.
After my second daughter was born in 2016, I was at my highest weight, 240 lbs. I felt terrible, I couldn't do anything without a lot of effort. I started weight watchers that fall.
Now, I am at 150 lbs, I ran my first 5k a couple weeks ago, and I enjoy exercise. I have switched from weight watchers to myfitnesspal, and Im still losing, just much slower now.
    Today I need to do:
    Day 18 of foundation (done)
Day 8 of the long run program (done)

      Checking in for today.
I did everything I had decided to do yesterday. It was an easy and pleasant run. I listened to zombies run and the weather was nice, no complaints really.
Today I spent most of the day at the splash pad playing with the kids and visiting friends, but I did get my workout in, and plan to run later.
      I am on
Day 19 of foundation (done lvl 3)
Day 9 of the long run program (15 minute run Done)
      Daily Dare (done with ec)

Happy Friday! Fridays are pizza day in our house. (Yes I can eat pizza and still lose 85 pounds I love Fridays. But it is easy to skip the workout on Fridays. I try to work out before I eat all that pizza, but today I did not. So I went on my run on a full stomach. Good thing it was only a 5 minute run today. I also did a 5 minute walk before and after as a warm up and cool down. It wasnt really a long enough run to listen to zombies run, but I did anyway. I am on season 2, and I didnt want to wait longer to hear what happens next
          Up today:
          Day 20 of Foundation (done)
          Day 10 long run (done)
Daily Dare (done, but no ec)

Ughh. I was up way to late last night, and I am dragging this morning. My 2 year old gets up at 7am no matter what time I go to bed. I wish she were more considerate of my lack of sleep haha.
Anyway Im typing out my to do list for motivation today. I'll edit to mark them done when I do them.

            Day 21 of Foundation (done)
Day 11 of Long run plan (done)
            Daily Dare (Done with ec)

I went to a movie with some friends and our daughters, and ended up not getting home until 10, but I changed and got it done anyway... Now I want ice cream.

Good morning! I am up early this morning because of my annoying cat, and Im sick. Looking at today's to do list, it should be a good rest day to recover. My foundation workout and my run are both somewhat easy today, only the daily dare looks a bit hard, but its short. Im not doing anything until after church this morning. Maybe I'll feel better by then anyway.

                My todo list for today:
                Day 22 of Foundation (done)
Day 12 of long run (done)
                Daily Dare (done with ec)
                Drink extra water (24 oz)

                  Good morning hive,
I woke up still sick this morning 😔 but I have a lot to do today so bring sick just isn't going to work for me.
I'm so sorry outside having my tea and doing my Bible reading, and then reading a bit from the Rational Bible. The kids are inside watching dinosaur train and hopefully not fighting.
This morning I need to get the house cleaned, then this afternoon I'm heading to the library. I house or areas annual homeschool fair, and I need to see if the library wants to participate, and also hang flyers and update their contact info. After that, I have some emails to send regarding speakers and booth space.

                  On my exercise list today:
                  Day 23 Foundation (done)
Day 13 Long run, 20 minute run (fail)
                  Daily Dare (done)

That run sucked. I'm not counting it as done. I wore new pants, and they kept falling down while I ran.... and it was hot, but mostly it was the pants... I'll try again next week or something.

I am posting later than normal because my oldest had an early morning orthodontist appointment, then my youngest had her summer reading program at the library. Once we were done with that we got a quick lunch, (tracked on myfitnesspal) then spent an hour at the pool before coming home. So now that Im home, time to look at the rest of the day.

                      Todo:

                      Day 24 Foundation (done)
Day 13 Long run again... I'll wait til after dark since its so hot out (done) My headphone battery died only 5 minutes in... that made for a very long 20 minutes
                      Daily Dare (done with ec)

Tomorrow Im taking the kids to the beach, so I'll be posting late again.

Do you know what I love to do after a long day at the beach?.... NOTHING
However, since I want perfect attendance, I did something...
I did not do the Daily Dare, that looked like it would suck, and Im tired

                        I did:
                        Day 25 Foundation (done)
Day 14 Long Run (10 minute run, done)

I think thats good enough. Also, sunburn sucks.... Im going to go have some icecream (tracked on myfitnespal)

Good Morning. Today I have lots on my todo list, and I havent even begun the basics yet. My house is a mess with swim suits, towels, and sand everywhere... so thats going to need cleaned up too
                          For exercise I have:
Day 26 Foundation, cardio day (done)
Day 15 Long run, Sprints (done)
Daily Dare, knee crunches (Done, but no ec)

Wow, it was a rough day. The kids were pushing my buttons all day. I didnt get any exercise at all until my husband got home from work. I am glad it was as sprint day, sprints make me smile. Giggle even. I dont know why, I just love running fast. Well fast for me, which is still pretty slow. The kids are in bed, Ive got my workout in, and Im feeling so much better.

Wow, I only have 4 more days until I have finished Foundation. so far I have had perfect attendance through this whole program. Today I have an appointment with my youngest, then nothing on the schedule after that. Maybe I'll take the kids to the pool.

                            Exercise today:
Day 27 Foundation, strength day (done)
Day 16 long run, intervals (done
                            Daily dare, (done with ec)

                            Also:
I had a 2 mile bike ride with the kids today too

After Foundation I am considering doing Age of Pandora. I havent looked through the workouts to much yet, but it looks like fun.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a running plan after I finish the Long Run plan? I was considering doing the sprint a-thon to work on my speed a bit. I still have some time to decide, but I welcome suggestions.

I'm playing Pandora right now! I'm just in the beginning, but I can tell you there are running and run/walk options starting with Chapter 5. No matter what running plan you pick, you can work the distances into your gameplay.
