I know eggnog, but what is the special part in aged eggnog? (It's probably not about using very old eggs? )
You mix the sugar/egg yolks/cream/spices/booze (much booze) like...a month ahead. And keep it in an air tight thing in fridge. The booze/sugar/fridge preserve the eggs/dairy and you are left w a beverage that tastes like the unboozed version you would buy at grocery store but packs a wallop >.>
is there a badge for surviving the shopping frenzy season when working retail? there should be a badge. for Survival of the Frenzy!
and Merry Christmas and many blessings for 2019.
My nutrition has been so suspect, and I was feeling so bleh, that I did not want to head to gym today and disapoint self. Glad I did not. Getting some extra coffee and couch time w cat.
Dragonborn looked interesting...I did one set Hour Glass it is
left gym gear on, may do some yoga before work.
Holiday stress split version wtf too many ppl in ky gym
Rdls - fixed bars bc no barbell avail
1x50x10, 5x100x5
Incline bench
5x55x4, 1x45x5 My rep range w bench is bad in the same way my rep range w pushups is bad. I am not bringing self/weight down completely. Trying to work on this. W 45 I am clean but 55 is like 3/4 reps.
Pullup work
Scapula pulls w trying to bend elbow, chin grip, 3x5
assisted flex hold to negative (40lb assist) down to more of the same 3x5 (1 neg per set)
something someone said (I think @daejamurrachan) said recently abt planks had me try something. 1 min plank really focused on engaging glutes....and for once I felt plank more in abs then shoulders. Next project, go.
Now to dive back into much neglected reno/reorg project.
For RDLs, if no bars available, dumbbells sub in very nicely. They even have the added benefit of allowing one to get deeper into the stretch of the muscle.
aveoturbo I have some fear (that I should prolly just get over) of heavy dumbells for rdls bc I am worried I will drop them on my feet. Bar is safe bc if I drop it who cares. (I should get over this bc I have never dropped a dl, failed to get it off floor (and, spectacularly, pulled myself down instead of the bar up once) but never dropped.)

You will know if your going to lose grip tho, it's not like your arms will instant fatigue and they will drop.
Nia Strength day
Bent rows - 1x45x10, 1x65x8, 1x85x5, 3x75x5, 1x45x10
Front squats
1x45x8, 1x95x3, 2x75x5, went for 3rd set, fucking shoulder was not having it 1x65x5, 1x45x8
Shoulder Press -seated to take pressure off lower back
5x35x5 Lower body works, since my leg based lift failed due to shoulder lol
This morning, in adventures of a fledgling home owner, I learned that I cannot arrange the kitchen as I would like bc the coffee maker and microwave will trilp the breaker. And shut off the fridge.
sorry for your frigde, but I have a solution for you: just throw the microwave out - because those who don´t pay the rent, have no right to be there, right?
didn´t know that we had a workout for the rotator-cuff - thanks for pointing this one out - will take a closer look at it on the next working-out-session!
TheLibrarian sadly, the microwave is an important component in 2 of my current culinary quests - to stop ordering from grubhub on the bus and picking up dinner when tired....and to stop buying more fresh veg then I will actually use/eat and wasting food. Frozen veggies (bought that way or caught by me just in time and blanched/frozen) steam in microwave rly well >.> and if it takes no effort I can convince self to eat veggies and some cheese for dinner instead of junk.
The coffee maker tho..... I have a French press. I was fine w french press. Hubby bought me a Keurig thing for xmas. I will give him 6 months or so to admit the coffee pods are needlessly expensive (and annoying to empty properly to recycle) but until then it needs a home on counter lol.

Funny story about counter space!
My mother, bless her, likes her kitchen counter "decorated" (cluttered). Every time she visits, I have to go and get rid of things from my countertops. I don't keep bread in the house (I eat rice and beans, mostly, with some potatoes), but she decides I need a toaster. I have a french press, but she decides I need a coffee maker. I have a hand blender that lives in a drawer, but she wants me to have a Black and Decker (piece of junk) that she bought on sale. Not to mention the candles flanked by fake flowers (shudder).
This last time she visited, I pinged my friends. "Can I borrow your X for a week while she's here?" When she walked into my apartment, the counters were full with a toaster, blender, some candles. Stuff I didn't have to pay for, stuff I gave back to the owners once she was gone. It was glorious.
She tried to buy me some fake flowers. I talked her out of it.
More practically for you, maybe you could put the Keurig on a side table in the dining room? Set up a bar cart as a decorative "coffee station", complete with water pitcher? If anyone uses it, it's on a different breaker. If no one uses it, it gathers dust for three months and you can pitch it, guilt free.
Joomju I live in a 550 square foot shoe box (thankfully w a gally kitchen in its own room) that currently contains the shit I need to sort out bc I was hoarding it bc I thought we were moving to a bigger space (we are not).
I have temp put the Keurig elsewhere and send my dad 1000000 pics of the breaker box. He is pretty sure he can help me install another breaker just to put fridge on its own one (as it rly ought to be anyway).
Today I learned it really IS easy to install a light fixture (as long as your husband is willing to stand on the counter and hold it up while you stand on the ladder to connect wires). I only had to call dad 2 times (and I already knew answers just wanted reassurance). It is scary/funny how many women in my age bracket have the same method for dealing w home repairs - google it, then call dad for clarification.
I am starting the 1&1 diet tomorrow, except I will allow 1 clementine w breakfast eggs instead of the low carb veggies bc I bought 10lbs of the damn things before deciding that and don't want to waste.
easy workout bc I spent my morning running errands and being an electrician (also installed new smoke and carbon monoxide detectors). (Getting home repairs/organizing sorted is part of my new years project bc living in a pile of disorder w chipped paint on walls is making me anxious, I've realized....and I keep thinking I cannot start bc I don't have time that day to finish...nope, need to do it a bit at a time.)
