        That coffee incident reminds me of myself after my first serious relationship break-up (age 18): Packed my two best buddies into my car to go to a friend's 18th birthday party. Guys got stinking drunk and slept in friend's little brother's room, I got ok-ish drunk, was the first to be up in the morning (bc I slept in one bed with my friend's mother and she was SNORING) and wanted to make coffee for everyone in the morning, but the stupid machine flooded the entire kitchen while I was cleaning friend's brother's room where my buddies..well..puked. Ugh. Bad start to the morning.

        Also, people who do not drink coffee are strange. Hope that stupid cold goes away quickly!

          Recovery Day
          Traveling, counting lugging bag while walking (esp bc it now contains duty free booze) as workout today.

          Had a great weekend. It was awesome to see my friends. Happy to be going home to hubby, tho. I think I am calling in tomorrow bc fucking cold.

            Fucking sick. Called in to work. No fever but feels like my entire skull is full of snot. Going to be still and eat soup. (Made kale/sausage/white bean soup yesterday.)

            caughing is an abs workout, right?

                            Thanks CODawn Encourager TheLibrarian sleep_twitch HellYeah80 PetiteSheWolf and aveoturbo, even if I am agreeing to disagree with you here. If I had the flu or something similarly bad, I would be completely still.... but in the past I have managed to go to work similarly sick so the fact that I only spent a few mins waving my arms around then parked my ass on the couch is seriously self care LOL. I am not allowing myself to use "sick" as an excuse the same way I don't allow "no time" to become an excuse or "sore today" etc, bc I know myself..... I am one lazy day away from falling back into my old ways. The only way for me to keep this habit up is to absolutely not allow any excuses, ever, bc I am definitely a given an inch take a mile sort.

                            What I am NOT doing this week tho, is having any fasting days. Even I know better then to try that whilst sick, my immune system needs fuel.

                              I absolutely get your "no days off whatever happens" idea! I need the same rule with healthy eating - I am sick at home today and I would love to stuff myself with sugary cereal crap, but I know that if I go to the supermarket to buy that sh*t, I will find myself still eating boatloads of it next week and buying more and more. Also, definitely no fasting while sick - if it was really the flu including fever etc., your body would probably tell you to live on fluids, but with a common cold, your immune system is usually happy to get some carbs, vitamins etc. for help

                                'rin I get what you are saying about doing something (unless you have the flu...I had that last year and moving from one room to another was an effort). Through the shittiest of times this year, I tried to do something...even it was light yoga to keep my streak. Moving really does help, even if is gentle movement.
