        Absolutely.

Its not a first, I have waken up with bags of chips half eaten and covered in chip dust (or magic pixie dust, whatever you want to call it), a whole package of Oreos destroyed only evidenced by an empty package, crumbs, and black corners of the mouth, and candy wrappers everywhere.

My sleep medicine can allow me to do some fun things at night. My wife has stories of things that are pretty funny, but I have no recollection of.

There is a certain sleep médicine that sometimes people take in planes to sleep during the flight, and people have been reported doing, ahem... very weird things under this influence. I was a bit tempted to have a sleeping pill during my trip to Japan last year, but was scared to try it because of those stories of somnifere-zombies.

I hate this! At my former workplace, there was a group of raw vegan extremists who would comment on every single meal you would eat in front of them, be it chicken salad or pizza. They would ask you what that was on your sandwich and whatever the answer was (cheese / lunchmeat / tofu / ketchup / chocolate spread), they would look at each other knowingly as if they were saying "Ugh, why would someone eat this crap? We're so much better with our green superfood smoothies!". Recently, at the cantine, someone asked me how I can eat four eggs and explained at length how he could never eat three eggs in one meal without exploding.. WHY.ARE.YOU.TELLING.ME? People don't know how often I eat in a day, and how much I eat with my other meals, and how much I train etc. - it's none of their business. Sometimes, I'd like to put up a sign next to me telling people that if they have some comment on my food, they better keep it to themselves.

Omg sleep_twitch I am sort of glad I'm not the only person that happens to...but not rly, bc it sucks lol. Also, mych lolz at sleep eating.... I am so glad I do not need sleep meds bc I am fairly certain I would do that too >.>

I like this pattern, going to keep Thursdays as goblet/front/lighter squats and add some extra dumbell work to "catch up" upper body.

Also, I am a motherfucking slapstick routine setting up/putting away barbells.... getting the 45lb plates off inevitably involves me pulling the barbell out of the last one vertically. Setting up the bench/gaurds and getting myself into the squat rack for bench presses? I'm a total klutz. But, hey, I realized today I was wrangling the bench w one hand while holding the barbell in the other as casually as I carry groceries so...at least Im a slightly stronger klutz, Lol.

You do bench press in the squat rack to take advantage of the safeties? This is good self care.

I use the safeties on my squat rack for the same purpose. They are set just so that the bar can touch my chest, but as soon as I set my scapula back into their rested position, my chest comes away from the bar and if needed I can just slide right out. Has happened twice.

Also, to the egg thing. There are people who eat a dozen in one go. Some people eat 3 dozen a day. Some literature with no scientific backing (unless you trust the words of Vince Gironda) says 3 dozen a day has similar effect to a dose of Dianobol. That's what I thought about with the egg thing. Fun "facts'.

aveoturbo I do. I was originally worried that this is bad-gym-etiquette but, meh. Ppl do all kinds of absurd equipment hogging rediculousness so me being in the rack an extra 10-15 mins is negligible >.> I mean, if I dropped the bar on myself atm I would prolly just have a bruise but, hopefully I will eventually be dealing w enough weight that a safety habit makes sence lol.

Ate all of the motherfucking things again last night (like 3400 cal day total). I hate that I cannot just eat like a normal human being, as soon as I allow any leeway it turns into a binge. (Went out w husband for a burger and a cider after work. Fine. That would of been 2700 cals...higher then planned but an ok treat. Then I bought chocolate otw home and also decided to eat bread w jam before bed.)

Was super sore and low on time this morning so, as close as I get to a rest day.

I know exactly what you mean. When I tried to explain to my bf (the kind of "eats max. two meals per day, but forgets about lunch when he's busy, so it's often only dinner, has been underweight most of his life, now just barely inside normal weight range") that I'm doing keto, he asked me why on earth I can't just "eat a bit less" - because I CAN'T, that's why. I can't stop eating, can't control my cravings, always want more, more, more. I can change other things in my life, but not this. Just dropping this here to tell you you're absolutely not alone!

Add an hour of cardio today, cut a bit out or replace with high volumes of low cal food (lettuce and celery :-l ) eating justified.

Justification is not a replacement for change.

It's ok. You're ok. You only live one life and one day of extra eating will not kill you. Happiness is important too. It was a recovery food day.

Thanks sleep_twitch, wjs , aveoturbo . There was actually some article in ny times today abt night binging being a result to overactive hormones/over responsiveness to said hormones. Unfortunately, the "cure" suggested is an eating curfew and ya...when sometimes you get home from work at 10pm and other times you are already asleep by then that is not super practical lol.

Yesterday I had super healthy breakfast and lunch, and a super shitty day...and decided to practice "eating like a normal person". A normal person, might, after a shit day, hit happy hour for ONE mojito and some 6$ nachos. So I did. And then I went home, and here's the hard part...did NOT EAT ANYTHING ELSE. So, 2000 cal ish day..that's normal right? I need to break this binge/starve habit. Maybe not starving yesterday can kickstart that.

Managed to shut my thumb in the clip thing on barbell today.... I though getting fit would help my lack of kinesthetic sence /sigh

                            pullups- 3x5 hanging scapula shrugs,
3x85 assist × 4 neutral pullups+4chins - am stalled here, going to add hangs/shrugs and negatives on tuesday
                            Squats 1x45x10, 1x115x5, 3x145x3 (try 5 reps tues), 1x95x8, 1x45x10
Shoulder press -small bars 1x20x10, 1x30x5, 3x35x5 (try 40next even if less reps), 1x20x10 - got away from dumbells to smaller fixed bars to practice form w those since I am nearly at barbell weight here.
                            Ironbar
Lower Body Works - w 10lb dumbells for added fun, held at sides for lunges/calves, goblet style for squats/leg lifts
                            Stretched

edit - did dare w ec (climbers) before iron bar

At first I felt a bit strangely guilty abt adding extra strength work but.... the program is designed for men. The ONE area, fittness wise, where women catch up to/surpass men is strength-endurance. So as long as I am doing extra stuff that is not all the way at the top of my 1rm range I am not going to damage myself, and am probably getting useful work done. I just need to keep it on my strength days so I get recovery in.
