            wjs I am building at least 2 yoga/recovery days into my week now, bc of this, and I backed away from a 5 day a week barbell program. But I think that comming at fittness this late in life and wanting actual results beyond just weight loss pretty much gaurentees it is not going to be a comfortable process. It just facinates me sometimes exactly what decides to hurt, lol.

            and yes, pets are all assholes abt food. My friend has a parrot that steals cookies, lol.

              Strange day today. Was going to lift this morning. But had a haircut scheduled at 9. But also wanted to return an online shopping fail to mall...where gym is...but stores open at 10. Then trainer txted me "are you off today? <person who lives close to you who can bring you to class> is off, I might do a class at 1030. "

              So....

                    I was set to be all fkn annoyed abt calories but... that is actually not much above maintenance if I did the math right. BMR is prolly around 1500 (I am assuming I am 165, may be a bit heavier). If I was sedentary that would be 1800ish. That puts me over by 3,800 cals.. but walking. 35 miles at let's say 80 cals a mile is 2800. That doesn't include cals burnt working out. So. Optimal? No. Total fucking disaster? Also no. I need to get my act together a little bit, but it is not as dire as I feared.

                              Some nagging cough/runny nose shit going on but I feel fine otherwise. Getting extra fluids today (made some ginger/lemon concoction and got coconut water) but not taking anything... will prop myself up w otc meds tomorrow for work if needed. In light of this I did not do heavy lifting today as scheduled, just did some upper body maintenance lifts.

                                Ofc I have some sinus/cold misary. And ofc calling out sick at this point would probably loose me the job. Propping self up w cold meds and cancling lifts for the rest of the week. May have made ghetto bone broth out of bullion and colagen powder for breakfast.
