        Put my foot down, dragged ppl to my hood. I got out of work at 5....most of them not till 9.... was not killing 4 hrs in a town I hate going out in anyway. So I got a smaller crowd that was more who I actually wanted, and was home by 12:30. It was really nice. Was not hung over but still got greasy breakfast sammich pre gym bc you guys got the idea in my head lol. (Or bc they are comforting and omg I am more stressed abt today then I thought I'd be.)

        Something has felt off on deadlift form for a few weeks so I decided to swap to Romanian Deadlifts for a bit to see if that cleans it up. Why are these so much harder omg? It is normal to go lighter here right? Added machine leg presses at the end to get the lost vollume back.

          RDL's target/isolate hammies more, where as regular deads can utilize the the whole leg muscle groups plus everything else along the posterior chain. So, less muscles used, less weight will be lifted.

            aveoturbo that makes sence, then. And I think I will stay w these for now, and do more hyper extensions and supermans (and maybe new program) to firm up lower back a bit before I go back to these. Bc that's what's been hurting. And maybe add hip thrusts in instead of leg press as vollume replacer/glute work.

              I have taken a liking to Landmine Hip Hinges personally. They can be done with both leg or single leg and allow a bit more cheat to them when you begin to feel the burn. All of those are good options, I am just trying to add another one to your repertoire.

              Hip hinge is not in there, its just a personal thing for me, but lots of good stuff to try and if nothing else, will add some change to your routine if you were looking for something else to try out for a bit.

                There is not a landmine thingy at my gym sometimes ppl put the barbell in a corner... sometimes it's ignored, sometimes they get hollered at for dmging floor/wall.

                But ya. Something abt my Deadlifts is currently tweaking my lower back so.....going to isolate hams/glutes/lower back for a few weeks/maybe this whole cycle then go back to them. This new program cane at the right time.

                        Improvisional lifting day, go!

                        My friend has some fittness stuff in basement so I decided to see what I could come up with to get my "remedial" day in. Unfortunately the kids morning entertainment stuff is also down there so I cut things a bit short bc I find youtube maddening. Why the hell is a 7 year old watching life hacks like folding fitted sheets and cooking a steak w an iron set to annoying music? Also her poor cat got a workout... he knows kids cant/wont feed him but...grownups do...so he was running to me, nuzzling/meowing, running up basement steps towards kitchen, meowing, repeating for like 30 mins. Unfortunately he is on a diet and I was told not to feed him. He totally cursed me out in meows when I was searching kitchen for coffee pot also >.>

                        tools available were: Yoga mat, some resistance bands that I should of played with, trx (altho, I felt a bit unsafe w it where friend hooks it up, she is like 50lb lighter then me and I did not want to wreck a door...so I used it minimally), adjustable dumbells but... 3 2.5lb plates (where is 4th) and 5 5lb ones only, bench.
