    My wife likes to drink pop. She will open a can, drink about a 1/4 of it, then leave the can for the rest of the day. Normally I can avoid drinking it, but sometimes I just cant. So I drink it. I know I could have really great spans of no pop weeks, except she has to drink pop in the house. I am not going to tell her that she cant have what she wants to enjoy around the house. We both have decisions to make. I made mine, she makes hers.

    Willpower 'rin. Remember who you used to be, and become who you want to be.

    I wouldn't let this get ya down tho. A rough week here and there is ok. I like to think you do a lot and really, in order to recover like you do, you got to eat. Chalk up the last month as a bulking period and try to start a cut.

    That's just my thoughts on it. I know the first point sounds rough and harsh. I mean it not that way, but sometimes I can only be blunt. I wont sugar coat it for you (otherwise we might eat that too!).

      aveoturbo fair point. Once I get on a good streak I'm fine, and can ignore whatever he has in the house....somehow tho, when I am in a bad cycle the only way I know to break it is to make it unavailable. So, like sleep_twitch, bc I will so eat the bag till it is gone, I asked him to buy some flavor I dislike (cool ranch) this week.

      Also, maybe if I give my body some more rest it will demand less food...poor thing prolly thinks I am preparing for a battle atm. Really going to commit to just doing revovery/mobility/yoga workouts on the day after I lift for next cycle and see if that helps.

      Bc, you know, not eating all the things when I am hungry is not an tool I have in my toolkit (hence my non petite size) so I need to be better about managing my hunger.

        I had 3 of my 4 drink for the week allotment last night at the movies. Oh well.. this burbon cocktail special they did for avengers was just really nice. Got an email I was hoping for after - I have a "we got your resume and want to see if we should interview you' phone call this afternoon /squeeeeeeeeee. Going to go to a museum this morning and get a cupcake for lunch and otherwise make sure I am in a perfectly calm/happy mood when the call comes through.

        Recovery week day 2
        Chest and Arms day 1 - not letting self to knees for volume for this challenge. 5/5/5 proper pushups, incomplete rom tho.
        Abs and Core day 1 - I need to do more core work, so going through this one again
        Shoulder work

          Pro tip: eat the cupcake while doing the interview. Try to answer every question with a mouthful of food. This let's them know you are serious. Serious about cupcakes.

                              Thanks aveoturbo Candace CODawn Gee BlackButler PetiteSheWolf mogster daejamurrachan Encourager wjs I got through phone round, have an interview in person tomorrow. Hopefully this works so I can finalize this fkn coop, lol.

                              Had an awesome walk (23k steps) and museum visit yesterday (and cupcake)... also omg, took a pic of a menu board of a sammich I need to go eat sometime..maybe friday I will do an epic hike and get it >.>Click image for larger version
