    Why does your husband refuse to eat dinner on places that have drinks you want to try?

      Artemis he likes straight forward food - can be ethnic but, fusion of 5 ethnicitys just confuses/annoys him.... and I was looking at absurd craft cocktails with infused things/barrelaged cocktails etc which unfortunately tend to come in restaurants that are more "creative" across the board.

      aveoturbo and Encourager it was a chilli-chocolate cupcake w salted peanutbutter fudge frosting that I had almost got myself when out exploring in the afternoon but had passed up. (To my earlier point, elhusbando got a vanilla birthday cake one lol.)

                Yesterday I was overtired and cranky, and my upper back was so sore that when some client touched me I wanted to cry. And I ate, literally, all the things on my meal break at work (to try to stay awake) followed by 3 servings of hummus and pretzles at night bc idk why.

                So, ofc, this morning was not the most productive lifting session. But really, in light of my sleep/nutrition this week it is really a miracle I did it at all.

                  Oh, man! aveoturbo Encourager you just had to ask! I was totally letting the whole cupcake thing sail right past me with no cravings whatsoever because yuck, cupcakes are so cloyingly sweet and don't make me feel good. But chili-chocolate cupcake with salted peanut butter fudge frosting? This is something I want!

                    Gym w friend today. Not super productive but not bad, sposed to be a light day anyway. We were chatting as much as working but it was nice, haven't gone w her in awhile

It is not that I have built so much quad muscle as to screw up fit (altho there is a bit)...my waist has gotten a bit too fluffy. I refuse to live in spanx so, I've got work to do.

                      Basically the last 2 weeks the only positive thing Ive done, health and fittness wise, is get my workouts in. Yesterday was coped with via pizza and gin consumed in a bubble bath, lol... resetting today.

                      2600 and 2900 averages
                      42 miles and 44 miles
                      4/4 drinks and 8/4
                      was dressed and had food/coffee in me but scale at gym (drs style scale) said 180 yesterday. 174 is the top of not overweight for my height. I need to find my willpower again.

                        I believe there is a rule that states something like, if you can cut 350 calories/day, everyday, that it equates to not adding a pound at the end of the week. Its something like that. Run with it.

                          Ya... my goal this week is to be between 2000 and 2400 cals a day. Week or 2 of that and I will try for an actual cut. Summer is comming, I do not want to choose between overheated and uncomfortable w the skin Ive exposed on a daily basis. I am reasonably ok w myself at 160ish, and I can get there in a few months if I get serious.

                              One of the ways Ive been going off the rails is w my post gym snack/hobbit breakfast, Ive been hunting sugar/tasty things. So I got some beef jerkey (which I love), clementines, and bananas (which I am indifferent about EXCEPT post workout at which point they are ambrosia) in the hopes that getting a calculated carb fix w some decent nutrition that is still delicious might keep me out of cookies/donuts/fudge/cake.

                              Not quite sure how to takle night eating which is the other issue, except to tell my husband that I really actually do not want him to go out and buy doritos/ice cream at 9pm even I am batting my eyelashes at him but really, it is not fair to make him food police. Especially bc I can just bake cookies if I am really determined. Going to try for some nicer/fancier dinners, maybe, and see if that scratches the food as entertainment itch so I don't seek junk.
