        I am 100% in favour of meditating in whatever location/posture/fashion works for you. (The ancient yogis passed down some good ideas to us, but also some unsound guano that stands up to scientific scrutiny not at all. The notion that you need to sit on the ground in lotus pose to reap the benefits of meditation is an example of the latter.)

              glad I am not the only "freestyle" meditator LOL.


              Yesterday was super unproductive, except for some emotional work, and I ate everything. I did npt realize I was having a low spoons day till I did a hard workout that used them all up, basically >.>

              Today is a better day, altho I need to sort fucking food. I should just eat an apple whenever hungry/bored, I have 20+ lbs of Jonamacs, which are softish early apples that don't keep super well. (My favorite from growing up, that is rarely available, that I tend to get over excited and overbuy when I find....if you didn't grow up eating them you would prob think they are Macintosh.)

              Today I did Gauntlet day 6, and Protagonist at lv1 in afternoon when I was trying to reset myself so I got chores done today.

                Had to use a friend as accountability to get my chores done yesterday, but, it worked.

                It's raining today. I probably won't leave my apartment. I've started Cardio Go bc there is no jumping so I can do it indoors. Sooooo boring tho, need tv lol.
                Today's Gauntlet I used 15lbs dumbbell for oress and curl, my 25lb bell for other 2.
                Also started 30 more days of yoga.

                  Finished* 30 days of yoga today (I am taking badge altho I skipped structured meditation. That is something that is normally just part of my life wether I sit properly and time myself or not.                   Gauntlet day 5 is fucking evil. I love it, altho I was bitching during and taking long breaks (I did day 29 of yoga between sets 3 and 5 bc I was procrastinating) I'm glad I got through. I have run a fucking Gauntlet indeed. (Even if I just did knee pushups (50 of those is a LOT for me atm) and used my 15lb dumbbell for curl presses (and fucking lost control of decent on last fucking rep of last set...my shoulder is going to be some lovely colors).) The 1st few reps of each set of squat to row would have this gleeful toss/catch grip transition...last few not so much LOL.

                  I fucking earned my breakfast today, lol.

                  I'm doing research on chi (life energy) exercises. From what I've learned it has actual benefits. Early morning would be a great time for me since my family is still sleeping then.

                            Gauntlet 10 fucking defeated me yesterday, omg.

                            I cannot do getups. The leg under transition is just... I can do them in reverse, sort of. W all of 5 lbs in hand. 1 did 3 sets of those to failure. Meant to do 5 but 3rd set failed by really slamming onto elbow and..nope.

                            Today was Gauntlet 11, and more yoga 7. And I'll go to gym class to see ppl. I'm playing fast and loose w these yogas, tho. Setting a timer for whole duration and flowing back and forth through it. I really am not a fan of holds longer than 15 or 20 sec. Today I did 1 2r 3, 2l 3 4 5 6 7r 8 7l 8 9 10 11 12r and added a "hug legs center" 12l.

                              I'm playing through Disco Elysium w a friend this weekend. Which is awesome bc the writing is killer, and you are less likely to just get stuck w 2 brains working on an issue. (Also my laptop would in no way run this but it will let me watch a stream.) So far I've made him accept bribes from both sides, lol.

                              Today was Gauntlet 12 but w my 15lb dumbbell for curls and press.

                              Also "did" more Yoga day 8.

                                I am totally meh today. I have to take Ms Shark to the vet today. She is still happy enough that I am coming home with her but, it is pretty obvious that I am doing cat hospice at this point. If it were inflammation she would be getting better by now. So I get to discuss if we need to change her care now that we are in palliative vs curative mode. Just fuck.

                                So that is going to take all my spoons for the day, basically.

                                So today's workout was just Cardio Go bc it's easy to make myself do bc I can just watch my show while I do it.
