Trying to use my kettlebell more + go through saved workouts on Instagram so I did this nobs guide one today w 25lb bell. Altho I lack good place for wall sits so it was squat holds.
This morning I did some warrior/reverse/triangle flow and will walk. My favorite deli near work reopened so I'm going early to get my salmon/avo sammich. Been way too long w out that so it gets prioritized lol.

Yesterday was an adapt and overcome day, and it almost overcame me. I was SUPER excited to find out that my favorite "deli" near work reopened. (Duke's Eatery, if you need a fast unfussy but good meal in midtown, esp if you have a group of ppl who can't decide what they want, go here. Nice variety of healthy/not, everything from sammiches to bibimbap, not cheap but...you're in midtown, nothing is, you can get lunch under 20$ tho at least.) Except I didn't look it up to double check after I saw a colleague w a bag from there on Friday. Not open on weekends. Fine, the guy w the cart is out, I'll get an eggwitch. But they will want cash. I've got time, my bank is close, I'll get cash. Except there is an agitated homeless gentleman w no shirt in my bank's lobby........ hey tho, even w the fucking 3 dollar atm fee at a different bank it was STILL cheaper to get my sammich then go to Duke's lol. (Was not going to get cash and risk a shakedown/showdown, this particular guy is often somewhere along my commute and I've seen him behave aggressively w ppl who sometimes but not always give him money. He never wants the granola bar I offer so he stopped asking me mostly.) And altho I wasn't AS happy w it, they at least put tomato on it for me so I got a veggie serving lol.
Finally did Smiter, which has been on my list forever. 8lbs, with the bent lateral raises (which became bent flys, honestly) being the limiting factor.

Taking hubby's shark cat back to vet today, they didn't get enough blood for 1 of the tests. I am salty about this. I am also worried we are looking at cat hospice. Bc there is a limit to how many tests I am willing to do, and I won't do cat chemo if cancer anyway bc it basically buys maybe a year for 3-5k and the quality of life might not be great if the chemo makes her nauseous. Hoping this last test gives an answer (isn't thyroid or diabetes) and we have some clear path, at least. She is still a busy happy cat still, so at least I know she's comming home from vet w me today regardless.
Vet stuff is expensive. If she is still happy and busy, it’s likely not a deadly C problem. That said, we would always “draw a line in the sand” as to how much money will be spent on vet stuff, for any animal.
If it is diabetes, let me know. I have good resources.
Willow had cancer. We'd tried chemo. Worst week ever and she didn't fucking make it anyway and the week was terrible for us and her. Willow was very ill. Shark cat seems much better.
